Our guest speaker Colin Baron brings us a once-off message in Mark 9:14-29, in which Jesus heals a boy who is possessed by a spirit. Throughout this passage we learn the importance of having faith, even when accompanied by doubts. Despite our own failures and shortcomings, we are still invited to keep trusting in God through prayer.

How should we understand healing in the Christian life? In this message in Acts 3:11-26, Duncan shows us that physical healing events, while dramatic and exciting, are not the main thing that God has come to do in this world. In John 15:1-17 Jesus declares that he is ‘the true vine’, and that we are its branches. When we choose to abide in Christ, he abides in us also. Here, Martin reminds us that as the branches we are unable to be fruitful in our own strength, but if we remain in Him, we may learn how to bear fruit for His kingdom and love one another.

Through John 14:1-8, Jesus reveals himself to be ‘the way, the truth and the life’—that in Him, we might find answers to the questions of our hearts. In John 8:12, Jesus declares, “I am the Light of the world,” revealing Himself as the very Light that John introduced in the opening of his Gospel (John 1). This Light is not just a symbol, but the true source of life and truth that overcomes all darkness. When we deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him—we no longer walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. 

In John 6:22–59, after performing the miracle of feeding the 5,000, Jesus is sought out by the crowd, eager for another sign. But instead, He reveals Himself as the Bread of Life — the one who, unlike the things of this world, satisfies forever.

Finishing our Daniel series looking at chapters 10,11&12 we see that God is faithful to the end. We should remain secure in who weare made to be, dependent on God's strength and stay secure in our future, as God's people will prevail.

He preaches from Acts 8:4-8 about the vision and comissioning of going out and being a light, for him this is in Leicester. We are all called to proclaim Jesus as the light of the world and asking the Holy Spirit to meet people by being joyful worshippers of Jesus.
