Peter calls the church God's "chosen people". In what sense are we 'chosen'?

What was the secret of Duma's great effective ministry of compassion and healing? One word: PRAYER.

Spending time at a dying woman's bedside, Duma encouraged her to confess something to her husband, and encouraged her husband to forgive what she confessed. Both of them found great peace in that moment. Do you need to confess something today? Or do you need to forgive someone today? What peace awaits us when we do these things in His name.

Pastor Duma tried desperately to lead a young man to God, but he kept resisting! One morning the young man was close to making a decision but resisted again.... and seconds later suffered a fatal accident. Time is short friends, don't wait too long to say your 'yes' to Jesus.

Ministering to the King of Swaziland, Duma boldly proclaimed that only Jesus was the true King of kings. How did the Swazi king react? Listen and find out.

When a woman burst into his church wielding a knife, Duma and his congregation feared the worst. But God did what only God can do.

William Duma refused to take glory for himself. He was a man of self-denial, a man who surrendered all to God. What an example to us!

One morning William Duma lamented that he was a fisher of men with an empty net. He held his net up to God saying "fill it today!" And less than a few hours later... God had put somebody in his path who he led to Jesus. Perhaps we should join Duma in his prayer today, and determine that our nets never be empty!

With such a powerful healing ministry, William Duma could well have become proud and self-reliant. But God reminded him to watch and pray so that pride would not take root in his heart. Are we praying against pride? It has no place in our Christian lives.

Pastor Duma encountered whispers of doubt from the enemy before he prayed with people. He had to stand against those whispers and stand on the Word of God. Is Satan trying to trip you up today? Stand firm in the Word of God!

William Duma's life story is an amazing read! A South African Baptist pastor with a wonderful healing ministry, he was hugely impacted by his Uncle Vika who stood up for Jesus boldly, and spoke out against the traditional godless ways of his family. How much good would come if we stood up for Jesus more?
