The journey to living as a champion in Christ begins with transforming the way we think. As followers of Jesus, we must adopt a mindset of victory, knowing that God is our champion and that no opposition, nothing, can prevail against us.

The enemy wants you to think there is no way out; to overwhelm you and cause you to think it’s too late or too lost. We live in a world that often says “Don’t get your hopes up.”   Hebrews 11:1 NLT Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.   As the people of God, people of faith, we have to get and keep our hopes UP!

We live in a world at war. There is a kingdom of darkness (the world is enshrouded by it) but there is a kingdom of light that God desperately desires us to inherit. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” We are free from the power of sin when we live in the light!

Our enemy brings fear of failure to us to cause us to shrink back from living a life of purpose and destiny – to keep us from making a difference – to cause us to play it safe rather than to live by faith. We were created and saved for a purpose – to make a difference!

Servanthood is the pathway to greatness. “The greatest among you shall serve.” God doesn’t despise greatness, He resists selfishness and pride. Churches that fail to emphasize servanthood will fail to make true disciples.
