God is the giver of the flame, but you are the keeper of the flame. Perhaps more than anything, we once again need a rekindled fire in our hearts and a fresh wind in our sails. What is God calling us to unsubscribe from: anger, greed, pride, religion, shame, legalism...from every lie of the enemy.

Freedom is not living your life however you want without dealing with the consequences of your actions. Freedom is having liberty over the dominion and power of sin. When you live with the spirit of God inside you, there is no prison wall that could hold you, no sin that will overcome you, and a battle that can’t be won!

Faith is the steadfast, foundational, resolute, complete trust and assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For the life of the Christian believer, faith is not optional…it’s essential!

Is it possible to love God, be a Christian, and not have an overcoming life? One of the greatest tragedies of American Christianity today is the vast number of Christians who love Jesus but experience no victory over sin, no power to change, and no miracles in or through their lives. God never intended for us to just suffer through this life - He wanted you to have power - victory!

If more men were being the best husbands, dads, and role models they could possibly be – the world would be a better place. Whether you have children or not – you are a role model and an influence on others.

In order to give God glory and provide a legacy for future generations, God calls us to build altars and to dig wells. "Those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” (John 4:14)

During this Easter season — let’s look up, look around, look in, and look forward to do what Jesus says, feel what Jesus feels, and tell who Jesus is to those around us!
