Wesley discusses how the path to forgiveness begins with a choice to "spit out our trauma." We often ruminate on the past - we chew on it. Unresolved forgiveness leaves us unable to live fully in the present. Jesus shows us there's another way: Spit it out.

How is your apprenticeship to Jesus going? Today Wesley asked this question and reflects on Jesus own evaluation of our lives Main text: Matthew 22:34-40. A more specific question ended our discussion: Are we growing up in love or just showing up to church?

Mosaics are torn pieces of paper, glass, or wood etc that are turned into a work of art. They just need someone to wonder, "What if?" "What if" the church was the same? Wesley kicks off our fifth year together as a crew reflecting on where we've come and how some of our biggest What If's are just getting started.

Master Chef's off screen do things we can see... they memorize a recipe. They allow the imitation to lead to innovation! Guess what... we can too! This week Wesley walks us through how the Lord's Prayer is his recipe for prayer. We hope this invitation to prayer is one that helps your next step.

We introduce our Praying Together series by discussing Jesus opening lines of the Lord's Prayer. Did you know he didn't make them up? Did you know prayer doesn't have to be spontaneous words that "come from the heart." Jesus invites his apprentices to start with what they know and let it grow.
