This is one of the shortest psalms to read, it’s one of the most challenging psalms to live out.

Psalm 129 is a psalm of perseverance and faithfulness. Jesus models both of these during Holy Week.

The Psalmist writes a great reminder for us about work and children.

Psalm 121 is a great reminder that we can trust God.

Tonight we start our journey through Holy Week. 3 times a year Israelites would have journeyed to Jerusalem to celebrate festivals. This is one of those weeks. Israelite had a songbook for the journey, the Psalms of Ascents. Psalm 120 is the first Psalm well read this week.
