RE.THINK families dedicated themselves to raising their children in the ways of Jesus today. The church family also responded with a charge to the families! We discuss the rest of Mark 4 this week as well.

Parable of the Soils Part 2. How do we get our soil in the condition to produce the harvest? Transformation is a partnership, without God we can't. Without us God won't. Let's make sure we do our part.

R|C Kids joined us again this week. Today we explored Mark 4:1-9. The Parable of Parables, Jesus uses this parable to describe what following Him will look like. How's your dirt?

Jesus has some harsh words for his original audience especially his family. These realities might be harsh for them, but great for us.

Mark chapter 3 Jesus heals a man with a shriveled hand on the Sabbath. This event upset some people in the crowd and creates an unlikely alliance. How do you respond when miracles take place in your life? How open are you to the move of God in your life?

What's the purpose of fasting and practicing the sabbath?     To be closer to God, and to filled by the Spirit.     What's keeping you from being filled by the Spirit? 

Mark 2: 13-17 Calling of Levi or Matthew. What do we see Jesus doing in this passage that we should model?

Today we start Mark chapter 2.  This event is one that raises questions and great discussion about Jesus and His authority.  

Jesus calls you to follow Him, but also to partner with Him to advance His kingdom in your world. Will you join Him? Mark Chapter 1:14-20.

Today is baptism Sunday!   We also discuss Mark chapter 1:9-14.     Today we discuss barriers being torn.   Jesus being driven.  The Kingdom drawing near.  

Today we start our journey through the Gospel According to Mark. Mark will raise the question for you to decide, which kingdom will you choose to be part of, which king will you serve?

Today we celebrate the greatest day for humanity of all time. Today can your greatest day as well. Jesus walking out of the tomb changes everything!

Today we remember Jesus' sacrifice for us.     We benefit from Jesus' sacrifice.     Scriptures:  Matthew 27, Luke 23, John 19 and Psalm 22.

We wrap up Ruth today.  We discuss the reality that God might be hidden in stories, but He's never absent.     Learning from Ruth to look for God in the hidden ways helps us find God in our lives.    

As we prepare for Holy Week we are taking a look through the book of Ruth.  Ruth's actions and kindness are something for us to take notice of. Ruth models something for us that is shocking.  We should pay attention to her example. 

As we talk about 1 more Spiritual Practice we step into the conversation of Intercessory Prayer. Intercessory Prayer is necessary, but it's also so much more.

We are moving into the next part of our journey to follow Jesus better.   3 main goals of following Jesus are:  1. Be with Jesus.  2. Be like Jesus.  3. Do the things Jesus would do.   Today we start the conversation of being like Jesus.  

As we practice the Sabbath, we must remember that it was made for humanity. Humanity wasn't made for the day.
