Today we look at the second group of statements Jesus makes in the opening statements of the Sermon on the Mount. The kind of people Jesus is forming to be citizens in His kingdom, will hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Today we return to our The Way of Exile and Jesus' teaching on the Mount. His Kingdom Manifesto is what we will use to prepare for Holy Week this year. Blessed are the poor in spirit. Blessed are those who mourn. Blessed are the meek.

We continue our Advent Series in Joshua 5:13.     We look to Advent to prepare for Jesus 2nd arrival.  We look to the first Advent as a reminder of Jesus' faithfulness in the past.  

Advent week 2. Chris and Karina share their story. Today we discuss Gideon, and how he and all of Israel were in the wrong place. Yet God shows up for them. God still shows up for us even when we don't expect it.

Today is week 1 of our Advent Season as we prepare for Christmas.     We start of in Genesis 16 to prepare the arrival of Jesus the Messiah.  

Today we wrap up our journey through the Gospel according to Mark. What a starnge ending! What does it mean for you and I living in 2023 and beyond?

Mark 14 is one of the most important passages of Scripture.     A nameless lady shows us how to worship.  A nameless man gives us another example of true worship.  Peter also gives us an example of how to engage with Jesus and life transformation.  

Mark 13 is a loaded chapter. It's a chapter that you could take out of context and make it say whatever you wanted it to say. Jesus addresses so many issues. Today we try to grasp the big picture of what Jesus is revealing.

Today we discuss Mark 12. This chapter is loaded and so challenging.

Today we discuss Mark 10. We also engage in a conversation about cynical faith and child like curious faith.

Today we cover Mark 9.     This chapter is full of events that remind us that God wants to be with His creation.     Jesus will turn His attention and focus to Jerusalem and complete His part of the mission.  

Today we honor pastors on our staff. We discuss Mark 8 and a place of 3 evils in 1 space. Jesus goes directly to that space and asks tough questions. He still asks His followers challenging questions in the face of evil.

Today we talk through Mark 8:1-25.     We discuss the feeding of the 4,000 family units and the lessons Jesus was teaching His disciples.     We also discuss what lessons we need to learn in 2023 based on this passage.  

Today we tackle the rest of Mark 7. We discuss why Jesus goes on the longest road trip with his disciples into Gentile area.

Today we discuss Mark 7:1-23 and Jesus explosive words. What should we hold onto? What should we let go of?
