Do you ever just want to hear the voice of God? I think many of us do, but how does the Lord speak to us, and when He does, what does it sound like? Psalm 29 describes the Voice of the Lord in a ferocious way, and we’ll consider these things on Sunday as we continue to Sing to the King.

There are many types of Psalms but during this series, we'll look specifically at the ones that speak of God's Sovereignty. Psalm 24 is a great text to kick off this series. In this psalm, King David refers to the Lord as the King of Glory! Join us this Sunday as we Sing to the King.

As we wrap up The Complaining Prophet, we see Habakkuk rejoicing. This seems unlikely from his lamenting, yet he rejoices. You can experience the same! Join us this week as we study Habakkuk 3:17-19.

When we think about prayer, it is tempting to immediately go to requesting things of God. However, Habakkuk models for us a prayer of adoration. He adores and acknowledges the Lord in Habakkuk 3:1-16. Join us this Sunday as we dig into the prayer.

The next section of The Complaining Prophet records the Lord answering his lament. The Lord gives specific instructions and warnings with a promise nestled in the middle. Sometimes, we can get caught up in all of the instructions or warnings but miss the reason for them. This is what we’ll lean into this Sunday as we look at Habakkuk 2:2-20.

Habakkuk continues to lament the world that he is living in, but is it God’s fault? Has He made these things to happen? Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 records the second lament but utilizes language that could be controversial. We won’t shy away from these things, but instead, we’ll dig into the Scriptures seeking understanding.

Have you ever had an experience similar to Habakkuk? You’ve asked God for help, but it seemed like He wasn’t listening or answering you. In Habakkuk 1:5-11, we find the Lord’s answer to the initial lament. As Habakkuk continues to wrestle with the sovereignty of God, we’ll do the same.

What do you see when you look around? What do you hear from others? Habakkuk, one of the Minor Prophets, saw and heard things that led him to cry out to God. Maybe it’s similar for you, but do you see and hear rightly? Join us on Sunday as we begin walking through the book of Habakkuk: The Complaining Prophet.

Some in our culture look at the life and work of Jesus from a historical perspective. This is right, but it falls short. We must also look at the miraculous life and work of Jesus. This miraculous work directly affects us but how? Join us this Sunday as we wrap up our Easter series and see how Christ changes us.

Life’s journey often feels uncertain, restless, and unpredictable. Like Paul, we find ourselves on roads we never expected — facing storms, struggles, and setbacks. Acts 28:1-16 reveals that Paul’s journey was far more than just survival — it was marked by unwavering trust in God’s purpose.

After appearing before the Council, the anger towards Paul is growing. In this week’s text, we read of a plot to ambush and kill him. Yet, we see the Apostle continue to trust the Lord. A firm, consistent trust that should be evidenced in the life of all believers. Join us this week as we continue through the book of Acts.

Paul lived his life "in good conscience" among those he interacted with throughout his ministry. Here we see Paul being persecuted by religious leaders, though Paul did nothing wrong except preach the word of Christ. Join us as we see how we can be like Christ in the midst of persecution!

Paul’s story is definitely miraculous. Once a prominent enemy of the Church, and now a leading missionary for the Church. In Acts 21:39 – 22:21, we find Paul speaking the people as a prisoner, but it doesn’t stop him from proclaiming the greatness of God. As we dive into this text, the question to ask ourselves is: what would I do in a similar situation?

As chaos ensues, our emotions can influence us in our decision making. Unfortunately, during these times, we don’t always make the best decisions. We see both sides of this as Paul is arrested in Acts 21:27-38. I pray that you will consider joining us this weekend as we discuss the need for discernment.

The Apostle Paul was no stranger to controversy. In Acts 21:17-26 after arriving in Jerusalem, the issue that had been addressed in Acts 15 at the Council is brought up again. As we see the response of Paul, I believe that we can learn how to navigate sensitive cultural issues with sincerity towards others while honoring the Lord.

In the final installment of our journey through Acts, we encounter the Apostle Paul on his final journey. As we jump into chapter 21, we'll see his friends encouraging him to not go to Jerusalem. However Paul has a different opinion, but what does this mean for us? Join us on Sunday to find out!

What is my purpose? This is a common question that many will wrestle with at some point during his/her life. As followers of Jesus, the purpose is found in the mission. The Lord is building His Church for the mission that has been set forth. This mission is Why We Believe. As we finish Creeds & Confessions, join us to study Acts 1:8.

What we believe about God matters first and foremost because it drives our confessional beliefs about everything else. If we get the doctrine of God wrong, then we will be skewed in our thinking about the rest of the world, especially humanity. For week 3 of our series, we’ll go back to the beginning and take a look at Genesis 1 & 2.

As part of everyday life, we will make "confessions" about particular things that we believe. The question is do we know what we're saying when we make these claims. In Week 2 of Creeds & Confessions, we'll look at the Doctrine of God.
