Wise people make good choices. It is extremely important, then, to seek out wisdom in life. Scripture tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is insight (Proverbs 9:10). If one wants to make good choices, then starting with knowing God and seeking His face is a good place to start.

God is Creator, Holy One, and Redeemer, and yet humanity has a tendency to diminish God's grandeur through familiarity.
