Remnant of Israel Shabbat Messages

Today we have guest speaker David Trubek from Chosen People Ministries in Tel Aviv, Israel (also a Tikkun congregation). He tells us about his work in trying to reach the Jewish people with the message of Yeshua. Then David receives prayer from our congregation.

Instead of his planned message, today Philip Snell introduces various people from Remnant of Israel who participated in today's "Convoy of Hope" outreach to the Planeview neighborhood at Colvin Elementary School, and invites them to talk about what they saw there.

Today's Torah message (midrash) is given by Pastor Les Bond, who talks about our position as holy priests for God, because God is holy.

In his message today, Philip Snell continues with last week's theme of expecting God's glory. Philip also introduces testimonies from Doreen Hersh and Jessica Castellano.

In his message today (a delayed posting from Saturday, July 08, 2023), Philip Snell talks about waiting with expectation for God's glory. You should expect God's glory: (1) In your personal life and gatherings, (2) In grace and mercy as He changes hard hearts to hearts of flesh, (3) In transforming power in you and others, (4) In signs, wonders, and healings.

Guest speaker Sam McVay talks about prayer and why we should pray. A brief introduction and some closing remarks are given by Zac Williams.

Today our Torah Message (Midrash) is given by Robert "Bob" Neill, who talks about today's Torah portion (Leviticus 18:1-30), and also the Haftarah (Ezekiel 22:1-12) and New Testament (Romans 1:21-32) scriptures for the week. Bob also shares some personal stories.

Today we are pleased to welcome guest speaker Dan Juster, who gives us his thoughts on what Tikkun congregations (and the new Bible college being planned) should be. His three main points are: (1) Messianic Judaism, (2) Pentecostal Charismatic (which he talks about last), and (3) Revivalist-Restorationist. Philip Snell teaches about the spiritual gift of "apostles" (1 Corinthians 12), and its function in the church today. He also talks about the origin of the word apostle, and its connection to the post office; and about the difference between "Apostle" (capital A) and "apostle" (small a).

After having four members of the congregation read the four chapters of the Book of Ruth, Philip Snell delivers a short message on Shavuot (Pentecost), one of the three major holidays where all the people of Israel were commanded to go to the temple in Jerusalem.

Today is the 49th day of the Omer (the day before Shavuot/Pentecost), and Brian Fritz gives us today's Torah message, based on Yeshua healing the ten lepers (Luke 17:11-19, TLV). Brian also explains how biblical leprosy was not the same thing as a modern medical diagnosis of leprosy.

Today we are happy to once again have guest speakers Rabbi Jerry Miller and his wife Jo from Kingdom Living in Kansas City. Rabbi Jerry speaks on "Jerusalem and Salvation", and gives 10 key points of salvation that have happened or will happen in Jerusalem. Jo Miller also speaks, and has a prophetic word for us.

Philip points out that although it is a controversial subject and there are many viewpoints on it, speaking in tongues was created by God, and it is His gift to His Church, so we should not reject it out of hand. Included are two testimonies from congregants.
