It's a brand new day for the Washington Commanders. Despite not going after the big names, Adam Peters has done a decent job at filling the holes in the roster. Players want to play for Dan Quinn and that's a nice change. Will the lack of big name hurt when the season?

It's time to say good bye to Antonio Gibson and likely Kam Curl and Kendall Fuller after the first wave of free agency. We'll look back at their contributions over the past few years and determine if Washington would have been better off keeping them.

Adam Peters continues to deal here in Washington. This time he grabs a couple of players that have had a good deal of success in the NFL. Linebacker Luvu should immediately shore up the defense while Austin Ekeler provides a steady presence for the running back room.

Antonio Gibson is a classic tweener.  Was used primarily as a WR in college, he went into the 2020 draft as a RB and was drafted in the 3rd round by the Washington Commanders. Gibson never lived up to his full potential but was a productive and mostly healthy running back.  What does this mean going forward for the RB position for Washington?

Adam Peters makes his first moves as Washington Commanders GM. He brings on a couple of former Dallas Cowboys to shore up some weak points in the Commanders roster after signing an edge rusher, Dorance Armstrong, and center, Tyler Biadasz. Do these signings make sense for Washington?

Hudson, a 5th round pick in the 2020 draft, has been a reliable special teams player who never really got a chance to play a high volume of snaps until late in the 2023 season. At 6 feet tall and about 220 pounds, he may be too small for an every down linebacker but there’s no questioning his energy and want-to. Safety Kam Curl almost came out of nowhere.  A 7th round pick in 2020, he was starting by Week 8 his rookie year and has been the starter ever since. Following the 2022 season, Curl was considered at Top 5 safety and talks began between him and the Commanders about a long term extension but nothing ever materialized.
