God is not interested in how you see you, He’s interested in you knowing how he sees you. It is hard to be a man in today's culture and we are in need of men to embrace their inner warrior. Not some fake bravado but a deeply rooted, godly courage that is willing to step out into the fight and pursue the Lord at all cost.

God's work includes me, and yet it's bigger than me. This morning we start a journey through Paul's letter to the Romans and in the opening verses Paul lays out the call to step into something bigger than the mundane. To be captivated by God, to live as one freely and forever loved, and to step into the calling He's placed on each of our lives!

Holiness of heart leads to holiness of life. To fight for your marriage means to live a life that pursues the presence of God, and in His presence we behold His holiness. This pursuit take a sacrificial choice to leave behind the things that used to hold our hearts and learn to live in the presence of God no matter where we are or what season of life we are in.

Intimacy will never happen by chance, you have to choose it! Everyone longs for an intimate marriage but that happens when both husband and wife look to meet the needs of the other in the pursuit of simply loving one another like Christ has loved them. This week we want to see how scripture encourages us to become the type of person that chooses intimacy over anything else.

Every relationship ends up somewhere, but few end up somewhere on purpose! In a day with more emphasis on relationships we are experiencing less and less great pictures of great marriages, and that's why we want to see what scriptures would have for us as disciples to fight for what really matters! Today we take time to celebrate our moms and recognize them as the gift they are. We understand that we would not be were we are without the women in our lives that encourage us, challenge us, and spur us on to live a legacy of faith!

To rest in God, is to live in rhythm with God. In a day with more amenities and luxuries than ever we feel the most stress and unrest than ever. And yet God has given us the gift of Sabbath rest. Not just rest for your mind, or rest for your body, but as Jesus said, "rest for your soul".

We fast from food to feast on Jesus. Fasting as a follower of Jesus is not required and does not make you more spiritual but yet is a great way to bring your mind, body, and soul into alignment with the way of Jesus. This week we look at what is fasting, why we fast, and practical ways to implement fasting into our everyday lives.

Prayer is about love. Prayer is about showing up again and again to the secret place in my heart where the real me can experience the real God. Prayer is about being known and knowing the God who loves me more than I could ever love Him. So this week we look at what is looks like to grow in our love for God through the practice of prayer.

Following Jesus doesn't happen without intentionality. One of the intentional ways we love and follow Jesus is by letting the Word of God dig deep into us and transform us. See the Bible wasn't written to inform us, but to transform us. So this week we look deep into the practice of scripture and how it will transform our discipleship to Jesus.

For us to follow Jesus means that we must slow our pace of life down and walk with Jesus even if it means changing my schedule, priorities, and plans.
