If God is ever going to do a great work through you - He has to do a deep work in you. In following, the road is long and to experience the mountain tops with God some valleys must be walked. We don't like the working of God at times but it all is in preparation for what He has ahead of us. With this hope we can trust Him fully with our future!

Overcoming is not conquering everything but connecting to the One who has! As the year begins, we often desire to see things from the previous year stay in the previous year, but that only happens byo the God who has overcome sin, death, God's grace and by connecting t hell, and the grave!

We were not called to be bystanders in the mission of Jesus, but as disciples, we are called to be those who follow Jesus, are changed by Jesus, and are committed to the mission of Jesus. Everywhere we go with everyone we know, loving and living like Jesus! This is where we want to begin the year and see the Lord grow us as a church!

Week 2

Surrender is not a ONE-TIME choice, but a choice we make ALL THE TIME! In a season full of hope and joy, we often walk through seasons that we didn't want to be in. This Christmas, we want to look at Mary's story as an example of one that had your life turned upside down with the hope of something better.

Week 1 - God sent Jesus to bring us into a relationship. That's what Christmas is all about! In a season that can leave us feeling not enough, unworthy, inadequate, and unloved we can look at the lives of the Shepherds and see that God came for us. We can look at the coming of Jesus to see that God has come near no matter where we've been or where we are.

We must be put together by God before we can put someone else together for God. When we follow Jesus it isn't just about me, but it's about who I am bringing up behind me to send out further than I can go. We must begin to raise up another generation of disciples who will follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and be committed to the mission of Jesus!

Connected people connect people. We live in a day where loneliness is at an all time high and as the church we need to see people the way jesus sees them, so we can love them the way Jesus loves them. The mission is ours to make disciples but the process often times takes longer than we want it to, and we have to walk with the Holy Spirit to ensure that we are making disciples of Jesus and not ano...

Sometimes God’s preparation and purpose for your life will come packaged as pain. It is a human experience that is common to everyone, and as disciples of Jesus we have the choice to see it as an obstacle to our flourishing, or it's the doorway that I can walk through to the people that God is growing me to be.

Disciple is NOT what you do - it's who you are! In our pursuit to be all that God is calling us to be we must start by realizing that His first and most important priority is that we simply stay close to Him. It is easy to do things for God but He is longing for disciples who will simply spend time with Him and give ourselves to being loved by Him and responding in love back to Him.

Disciple: it’s not what we do - it's who we are! As a church, we want to follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and be committed to His mission.

If we are saved, we are sent. Found people find people. Salvation is a gift that God gives to those that aren't desearving of it and yet is given by His great love. But that gift comes with a mission and the mission is to love those that are far from God to Jesus. We are to be a bridge for those searching for help and hope. We are called to be a paople that looks for those around us and lead them...

Becoming like Jesus happens one step at a time! Life is full of ups and downs and as followers of Jesus it's easy to doubt God when things aren't going good. But the hope and promise is that Jesus is with us no matter where we are or what season we're walking through. Jesus promises that "all things are possible for those who believe."

When you help people Belong, you help people Believe! This is not just a catchy statement; it was how Jesus lived Hisy we as a church seek life and the way to live. Jesus never overlooked sin, but He saw how His grace was greater than the sin. And just like the woman in John 8, He longs to lift our face to see that there is no condemnation in His eyes, only love and grace!

In order to recognize love you must first know how much you are loved. Love doesn't begin with us but with God, and if we are going to be people of love then we must first understand the length to which He loved us!

Freedom is yours in Christ, so start living! Chapter 8 of Romans is a declaration that In Christ there is now and forever NO condemnation for me, and that I am free and empowered to walk in the Spirit!
