If you had to open one app on your phone to show someone your spiritual life, which would you choose? According to Malachi, the truest answer might be the one you'd least expect: your banking app. Sunday we learned why giving is one of the clearest windows into our hearts, and how the grace of Jesus frees us to give from delight rather than drudgery.

We all have a list of things we want God to fix. But what if, before he deals with what's around you, he wants to deal with you? This week in Malachi, God responds to our lists in a way no one expected, coming like a refiner's fire in order to make us new.

Easter Sunday!

How difficult is it for you to believe that Jesus’ death was for you? This week, we will consider Jesus’ final hours in his journey to the tomb and all that it means for you and me.

What kind of king is worth following? In Jesus’ trial before Pilate, the question of kingdom is raised again and again, only to end in the mocking of Jesus with a crown of thorns. Yet it is this moment that Jesus proves the true nature of his Kingship.

As Jesus heads toward the cross, human failure is everywhere in the form betrayal, self-interest, and fear. But instead of hiding or resisting, Jesus steps forward. This week, as we head towards Good Friday and Easter, we’ll see both the seriousness of our sin and the hope found in the One who came to deal with it.

Did you know that Jesus prayed for you on the night before he died? Knowing he was going to the cross the next day, Jesus stopped to pray. This week, we study Jesus’ glorious prayer to see the things that were most on Jesus’ heart and mind in his final pre-crucifixion hours.

Have you ever felt a gap between the joy Jesus promises and the joy you’re actually experiencing? This was a tension Jesus’ disciples wrestled with as well. This week, we explore how Jesus invites us to trust him even when life doesn’t look or feel the way we expect.

Friends are important. Probably more important than you realize. From the very beginning, God said it was not good for human beings to be alone. Join us as we study the amazing truth in these verses: Jesus calls us friends, and Jesus calls us to be friends to one another.
