You won’t find rest by chasing it. Rest is the result of a real relationship with Jesus Christ. This Christmas, He invites the weary to come, take, and learn — and in Him, discover the deep, lasting rest your soul truly needs.

The arrival of Jesus is good news of great joy for all people. No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter what people say about you, or how you even feel about yourself - Jesus came so that you might become a fully loved, fully accepted, fully forgiven, fully adopted child of God. 

The birth of Jesus is the joyful proclamation that God is with us, and is faithful to keep His promises. Mary is a living example of what it looks like to respond by faith when the Spirit of God moves. This week we will discover that Mary was marked by Faith, Surrender, and Worship. 

The arrival of Jesus, is the joyful proclamation that the Savior, Jesus, The Messiah, has come. God took on the flesh and came to us, so we might know him, love him, and be saved by him.  So that we might have an eternal hope, even in dark and difficult times.

Thankfulness is how we express our gratitude for who God is, and what He has done in our past, and declare his faithfulness over our future. This week we discover that worship changes our perspective, protects our hearts from growing cold, and protects us from foolishness.

John Piper once said, “Life is war. That’s not all it is. But it is always that.” As we conclude this series, we discover that following in the footsteps of Jesus means sometimes we need to step up and step in to the arena and fight. 

In the Old Testament, God delivered His people from bondage and slavery in Egypt. Their freedom comes after God sends the angel of death, but spares those who obeyed his command to mark their doorposts with the blood of the lamb. Today we experience our ultimate freedom from our ultimate bondage that was won for us by the ultimate lamb, Jesus Christ. 

Sometimes we wrestle with God, Jacob did. This week we discover that we win when we surrender our lives to God. 

We all face giants in our lives. The good news is that we do not fight for victory, we fight from victory and have a champion who fights for us and has already defeated our greatest enemies. 

Where do we get the power to fight the battles we face today? If you are tired of fighting with your own strength, longing to experience revival in your own heart, or want to be equipped with the spiritual weapons we need to break every chain, then we must embrace the person and the power of the Holy Spirit. 

When Jesus went to the cross, He entered the battle, and endured it ultimately conquering Satan, Sin, and death through His life, death, and resurrection. 

As people who have been changed by Jesus, none of us are owners,  we are all stewards of the things God has entrusted us with. If we want to be good stewards, we cannot ignore God’s word about the giving and generosity. God does not need your money, but He is after your heart! 

This Sunday, we hit pause on our current sermon series to open our Bibles and address the evil we have seen in our country this week and answer the question: "How do we are Christ Followers Respond To Evil In The World?".

Living in community is essential for every Christian. Our church community spurs us toward love and good deeds, helps us avoid sin, provides a place to live out God’s commands, and offers opportunities to become servants and givers like Christ. You were never meant to do life isolated and alone!

At Redemption Church we believe that we are all on a Spiritual Journey.   Accepting Jesus is the beginning of our spiritual walk with God followed by taking the next steps through obedience. As we grow God will reveal ways for us to do these things that will bring us joy and draw us closer to Him and be for the benefit of others. Following Jesus leads to growth, and growing people change.

As Christ Followers our heart and desires should reflect the heart and desires of our Heavenly Father. As we grow in our relationship and knowledge of God we begin to care about what Jesus cares about. With that in mind we believe that at the core of every Christ Follower there should be a passion, urgency and involvement to see others be changed by Jesus.

Worship is not just an event or activity, it is a lifestyle. What if the will of God is not always about a decision we are trying to make, but is more about who we are becoming. 

If we are completely honest, sometimes things like worship, prayer, serving, and sharing the gospel become regular and mundane to us. This is not new, it happens. We serve a supernatural God who still saves, still performs miracles, it still at work in the world and in our lives. As long as the tomb is empty, we should live our lives eager and expectant to see God show up and do what only He can d...

One of the simplest things Jesus said, might also be the hardest thing for us to live out. Jesus commands us to love others, as He first loved us. This week we will discover how we can take steps to show love to the people around us. 

You rarely arrive anywhere worthwhile by accident. As Christ Followers we need to seek God’s direction and calling for our lives and continually ask the Holy Spirit; “will you reveal to me any areas of my life where I need to change course to be in alignment with your will and purpose for my life?".
