What does it mean to you to take steps forward in work, with family, or with God? Do the little steps matter at all? We often don’t see forward movement because we are too busy talking and not busy enough moving. Those small steps do matter!

There are times when I shake my head at God. How about you? When Scripture states that my ways are not His ways, I want to shout amen! God, in His infinite wisdom, can seem to create confusion in my life. However, God is not a God of confusion. How do we handle seasons of our lives where God doesn’t seem to make sense?

Have you ever attempted to run from God? I sure have. Interestingly enough, it usually doesn’t work out too well. It’s time to wave the white flag and do it God’s way.

Do you ever feel like you don’t measure up? I don’t think we realize how much our attitude matters or how much our belief system matters. If we want to measure up we need to switch our measuring stick and use the right one.

God will make our path narrower and narrower until He gets our attention. What does this mean in our lives, and how do we recognize God’s way versus our course.  

Sometimes we don’t realize what we have in our hand, the seed God has given intentionally placed there. We feel the lack because we see from the wrong perspective. In the hands of the living God, that single seed can become a mighty plant. However, for that seed to grow, we have to release it.

God delights in our asking questions! The catch is that He also sees the basis or root of the question. Is the question coming from a place of unbelief or an area seeking to understand and partner with Him?   

The season in the soaking room was to prepare us for the war room. The sword of a warrior does not do any good in its sheath when you are on the battlefield. You must draw your sword and take back the ground.  

Contending can be a challenge! And, when we are contending for the things of God, it can seem even more elusive and challenging. However, God has invited us on a journey to find buried treasure and pearls of great price. How do we effectively contend for the things of God?

Don’t talk to fear but talk to faith. Often this is easier said than done. The Lord has been talking to me recently about navigating the uncertain seasons of life. This includes political unrest, issues around health and pandemics, financial challenges and more.

Choosing God’s wisdom over our wisdom can be difficult. In fact, at times, it can go against everything in us. And yet, when we choose his wisdom, he breaks the shackles off our feet and leads us into truth.

As believers, it is imperative that we see past the natural realm and into Heavenly realms. Not only is it critical, but it is also our right. As sons and daughters of the living God, it is our honor and privilege to view life from a different perspective. How do we train ourselves to see what God is doing?  

Do you feel like you are in the background? That's not a bad place to be IF that is where God wants to use you. Andrew was a disciple of Jesus Christ, and yet he is one that we don't know much about. However, we know that he impacted the Kingdom because he was right where God had created him to be.

Developing an attitude of thanksgiving can be difficult or easy, depending on the season. It is an area that we all need to grow in. Why? Because when our focus has a direct impact on the decisions we make and how we navigate life. Yes, there is a path that we can navigate that leads us into heartfelt thanksgiving.  

God sees, therefore there is always HOPE! How can we learn to train ourselves to become increasingly sensitive to hearing the voice of God? Is it possible for His whisper to drown out all other voices?

Do you feel like you have dreams from God that are dead? Dive into the account of Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones but with a twist. What can we learn from the process that God took Ezekiel through?

Think of the last time you were out walking, and something caught your eye. What happens at that moment? Do you stop or keep going? What are the thoughts and questions that run through your mind? I hear the Courts of Heaven sounding an alarm. Immediately I am reminded of a smoke alarm going off to warn us that there is smoke, and where there is smoke, there is often fire. I hear God saying that "My people are at a critical moment and how they handle this moment, as the body ofChrist, will impact whether the church moves forward or becomes silent."

As I was preparing this, I could see us standing, looking at a vast mountain range. The Lord reached down, His hand reached down, and as His hand descended, the mountain was put into perspective.
