Feel like your walk with God is buffering? God has created us to be in a life-giving relationship with Him. However, we all have seasons where there seems to be static in that relationship. It’s time to fine-tune that reception.

We all have walls that we hide behind to feel safe. However, is this God’s plan? It is difficult to soar with Eagles when we are hiding behind walls of self-protection. Today, Ruth will share four keys to taking down those walls and soaring to new heights.

There are so many times where we don’t measure up by the world’s standards. We don’t have the right background, the proper degree, or the right job. However, God can take the most unqualified person and make them the hero of the story.

Ever had one of those seasons when you are in the wrong place, doing the wrong thing and your praise is stolen? The demonic have an ongoing assignment to steal or redirect our praise. And, they will go to great lengths to undermine our testimony. If you are anything like me, you need “but God” moments in your life.

What is the basis for my who I am? How much has the cultural system, political system, or religious system woven its way into my belief system? To effectively look at what is happening in our churches, I must look first within myself. I cannot be part of the solution if I have inadvertently become part of the problem.

Some leaders are easy to pray for; however, others are difficult. We can end up cursing rather than a blessing. Does this matter? Our prayers make more of a difference than we realize. Jeremiah, the Lord sends a powerful message to the people who are in exile. He says, “Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (Jeremiah 29:7b). How we pray does make a difference.

Some people seem to hear the voice of God clearly while others struggle. Yet, we’d all agree that we are created to be in relationship with our creator. Furthermore, it is impossible to have a relationship without some form of communication. What can we learn from Eli and Samuel that will help us in our journey to hear the voice of the Lord?

Is this a test? Have you ever asked God that question? I sure have. There are days that I wonder what is up with life and why something is happening. There are times when I wonder if and why I am being tested. I am not a fan of test-taking. Yes, it is part of our walk with the Lord. In James, we find the concept of passing the test with faith. What does that mean, and how do we get there?

Do you ever wish that God would hold up a cue card, to know what to do? I sure do! There are moments when differing opinions, prophetic words, and confusion seems to reign. As Paul makes his journey to Jerusalem, he had to navigate some of these very same things. What can we learn from him to help us navigate successfully with or without cue cards from God?
