Arts EN ↓ 2 episodes

Reading Came First is a podcast where books, beats, and Black queer brilliance collide. Hosted by Roy Kinsey (rapper/librarian), Amarii Rynée (DJ/artist), and Ryan Sinclaire Davis (DJ/cultural curator), we explore literature, music, and life through a Black queer lens. From banned books to breakup songs, ancestral wisdom to current joy, we talk, reflect, and build community. This is more than a book club—it’s a sanctuary for readers, lovers, and liberators. It’s a space for those who’ve ever found themselves in a verse, a chapter, a dance floor, or a dream.
