Reach Church

It’s a gift from God. It leads us into fullness of life. We know it’s important. But most of us can’t define it, and don’t know how to practically walk it out. Let’s revisit repentance, shall we?

In an increasing interconnected and global culture how can we be a people that welcomes anyone and everyone? What should be the underlying motivation that sends us out into our everyday spaces to befriend and love the other? How can two people from different backgrounds sit down and enjoy a meal together?

In order for the Good News to be spread throughout the world to all kinds of people, Jesus must deal with prejudice in the hearts of his followers. God cares about race. We must care about it, too.

Do we really believe that Jesus is alive? Peter’s story helps to build our faith.

After being released from their night in jail, Peter and John pray with their friends. What and how they pray inspires us to examine the manner in which we approach our Heavenly Father in prayer.

Peter and John are arrested and brought to trial as the good news about Jesus spreads through the city. Peter follows Jesus’ example and displays a selfless love.

Regardless of the relationship you have or don't have with Jesus, the reality of His vast love and power is bigger than your current understanding. So...how does your view of Jesus and His love need to be enlarged?

When Peter heals a lame beggar, we get two glimpses of what it means to walk in Jesus' name.

We have been invited into relationship with the creator of the universe, to converse with Him as often as we like. Incredible. So why do we struggle to take Him up on the invitation?

In both the Lord's Supper (communion) and ordinary meals, we see glimpses of God's love. Jesus wants you to come to the table, and to pass the invitation along to others.

True fellowship is not just Christians hanging out. It’s about participation, partnership, a shared purpose, and even shared possessions. A God who IS fellowship has done everything necessary for us to experience fellowship with Him and fellowship with one another.

Time for some unlearning and relearning. It's not enough to just hear the Word. Our devotion is measured by our obedience.

As Peter gives the first sermon ever, we are reminded that we have a gospel to believe, a Holy Spirit to be filled with, and that we can't help but live out that good news.

The inauguration of the Church, God's beloved family, the body of Christ, is marked by the coming of the Holy Spirit, in power, to unify and empower the followers of Jesus for the great mission before them. Things will never be the same.
