We’ve uncovered another gem in our treasury, something truly unique: The Destroyer performing live twice at P.O.R.N. on 19 January 2008 – Het Kasteel, Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands. Especially for this sold-out edition of the mother of all terror raves, he performed once during primetime (01:30 – 02:00) and also brought this legendary edition to a close (05:30 – 06:00). Remember the good ol...

It’s been a while, but we’re back with a new mixtape! Fer-D, who you might also recognise as a resident DJ at Loophole, has once again raided his record collection to unearth the gems from 1993. 40 tracks from the days when we swapped our "housebroeken" and Troop-jackets for Australian tracksuits, all mixed using the turntables that were also found in nightclubs back in 1993: the Technics SL1200....

Today we received the sad news that Mat Weasel has passed away. The man who put upbeat, fast-paced tekno on the map. The man who, in the mid-2000s, introduced old-school gabbers to cheesy but brilliant happy hardcore (let’s please not get too caught up in pigeonholing people). He performed at Audio Active on several occasions. The good old days that Rave-O-Lution co-organised some raves with The H...

It was a few months ago, but what a brilliant evening we had at Willemeen! For the second time, Hardwired & Loophole came together at Arnhem’s premier underground venue. Today, we’re proud to release Defektek’s live set online. Only hardware, nothing but freaking out, only energy. Long story short: press play, turn the volume up to the max and make the neighbourhood happy :) STREAM HIS LIVESET @ Y...

Stefan and Greg take you on a journey that takes you to...

For the first time, Hardwired x Loophole organised a rave together. Willemeen Arnhem was the place to be. The opener of the evening, Reflect, is the man behind Raw Material and RFLCT. Pure techno is what this man is all about. On 3 October, he lived up to Loophole's motto: it's all rave! Old techno, dirty acid, tekno and stray gabber in the mix. The first artist of last Loophole rave at PAARD The Hague: Formshift. Gavin was a regular act at parties such as Masters of Hardcore, Decibel, Beter Kom Je Niet and Hardcore4Life. As D-Spirit, he has performed all around the globe. He remains true to his roots, but as the saying goes: fish’n’chips are very tasty, but eating fish’n’chips every day is very boring. With his alter-ego Formshift, he mo...

Still standing strong and surviving the Sliedrecht air (shoutout to Chemours): Fer-D. For the revamp of the Rave-O-Lution Mixtape, Fer-D takes you back to the start of the golden age of hardcore techno. Rave the City, Thunderdome & Hellraiser were already the holy trinity in 1994, even before the hype of the megaraves & TV programmes like TMF Hakkeeh which were coming up in the next years.
