God calls us to offer up our bodies as a living sacrifice.  What does that mean?  What is affected?  How should we live in light of it?

Did Israel know what they needed to know in order to be saved?  Did they understand it?  If so, were they all saved?  The end of Romans 10 tells us.

How does someone get saved?  Is there a how-to or a FAQ section?  Romans 10 gives some pretty specific steps.  

Is God sovereign or is man responsible?  Are some saved or will all be saved?  Is it all up to God or do we have to do something?  Who can do something?  All good questions that get addressed in this section of Romans 10.

Romans 10 begins with Paul telling us how the Israelites failed in their efforts to establish their own righteousness and missed God's plan for that righteousness.

How does anyone attain to righteousness?  The Jews tried by the law and missed it.  The Gentiles didn't try at all and obtained it.  So what does that mean?  Paul explains at the end of Romans 9.

Paul pulls from the Old Testament prophets to reference Israel's falling away and the work of God in calling Gentiles into His Kingdom.

How big is God?  How sovereign is God?  How open are we to the answers to these questions?  Romans 9 helps us answer these questions.  

God says He raised Pharaoh up in order to show His glory to the world?  Is that fair?  Is there injustice in God?

Why did God choose Abraham?  What about Isaac?  Jacob?  Me?  So that God's purpose would stand.  What is that purpose?
