Jordan Mayland is a solo musician and the front man of Volcano Boys – he also plays a variety of musical roles in Tires, Keepers of the Carpet, Electronidoll, The Wheelers, and more. We sit down with Jeff (vocals, guitar) and Trevor (keys, synths) of Iowa City indie alternative group Halfloves! We talk everything from their early days as a band to the aftermath of being featured on one of the biggest YouTube music review channels on the internet. Parker and Chase are joined in Spare Bedroom Studios by producer/musician Brandon Darner. Brandon has produced music for international acts like Imagine Dragons and Iowa groups like Holy White Hounds and Halfloves. He also produces and plays guitar in Ames indie outfit The Envy Corps.
