Volleyball playoff roundup as West Plains advances, Randall and Canyon to meet at the Box, Bushland rolls, Vega rallies and Fort Elliott, Wildorado move on.  The TXHSFB playoffs begin tonight as we look at all the matchups from 5A to Six-Man.  Plus, a look at 15 boys basketball players to watch across the area.

Kale Steed was on-site to watch Bryson Daily and Army beat North Texas.  He spoke at length with Bryson and shares those thoughts.  WT got a win at home against Midwestern State and we recap the final week of the regular season in TXHSFB.  Plus, a look at all the volleyball playoffs as our local teams dominated in the area round.

Palo Duro senior Aaren Woods was hurt late in Friday's game against Wichita Falls Legacy and required spine surgery.  We have the latest on the situation.  Canyon boys and girls swept the state XC titles while other area teams medaled during the two day event.  WT volleyball is hot plus high volleyball playoff pairings.  WT gets a big win on the road against Kingsville plus a full review of week 1...

The state cross country meet is Friday and Saturday in Round Rock.  Canyon boys and girls, Gruver girls, Texline and Booker highlight strong medal contenders from this area.  West Plains claimed the District 4-4A title plus AHS, Bushland, Vega go undefeated in district.  Week 10 of the TXHSFB season has teams jockeying for position highlighted by Canyon/Hereford and Spearman/WT High.

A true legend passed this morning as former Randall head coach Leslie Broadhurst passed.  We look at the legend and our memories of Coach Broadhurst.  Randall's tennis team captured Team Tennis gold for the second time in three years.  Sunray took down Panhandle in a great game and West Plains handled Randall.  All the news and notes from a great week 9 of TXHSFB.

Bryson Daily led Army to another big win as the area star is turning heads.  Another week of TXHSFB is in the books.  Tascosa rolled over Lubbock High and Amarillo High fell to Abilene in a shootout.  Borger gets their first win and Dalhart impresses in win over Muleshoe.  We also look at area volleyball results where West Plains topped Canyon and Fort Elliott gets another big district win.

Several big matchups highlight weekk 6 of the TXHSFB season.  Can Amarillo High suprise district favorite Abilene?  West Plains hosts Argyle Liberty Christian and their famous HC Jason Witten.  Hereford travels to Seminole in a big test for the Herd plus a look at other pertinent games across the area.  Plus, a recap of Tuesday's action in volleyball.

Week 5 of the TXHSFB season was a wild and crazy one.  PD takes down AHS to become city champs, Bushland continues to roll, Canadian and Muleshoe hosted a track meet and Groom is involved in another crazy ending.  District volleyball is in full swing as teams start jockeying for a playoff berth.  Plus, the Amarillo AISD Cross Country Invitational results.

We look back at week 3 of the TXHSFB season as Canadian upsets Dumas, Sunray looks dominant, Amarillo High drops a high scoring affair and Happy survives against Klondike.  WT fell at home to Western Colorado while the Lady Buffs volleyball team takes a tourney title in Colorado.  Plus, area volleyball results and XC standings from the Badger Run.

A look at week 3 of TXHSFB with several big games including Palo Duro/Canyon, Canadian/Dumas and Stratford/Sunray.  Amarillo High and Bushland had impressive performances in volleyball plus Vega has things going in the right direction.  Finally, an interview with Brandon McAuliffe who does reporting with Big Country Preps and DCTF.

Weekk 2 of the TXHSFB season is in the books and Amarillo High, Bushland and Panhandle grabbed big wins.  Tascosa, West Plains and Canyon picked up bounce back wins while Dalhart throttled Perryton.  Buff football met their match with Colorado School of Mines but this team looks better than years past.  WT volleyball hosted the Britkare Classic and the Lady Buffs had a strong showing.

Week 1 of the Texas high school football season is in the books.  We take a look at all the games from PD's big win over Tascosa to Perryton's late score against Canyon for a win to the craziness that was the ending of the Groom/White Deer game.  WT picked up a season opening win thanks to Sean "Fats" Johnson and we have the latest on area volleyball.

The first scrimmages of the season took place last week and Craig and Kale give their thoughts on what they saw.  We go over the top 30 players from 2A to 5A in the Texas Panhandle and the Top 10 players in Six-Man.  Our local volleyball squads, led by Bushland and San Jacinto, had great results in tournaments across the state.

Fall practice has kicked off across the area and Kale Steed weighs in on what he has seen, players who have impressed and stories he's encountered in the first week.  WT football camp is in full swing and the Buffs look to be improved in their second year under Josh Lynn.  Volleyball is also in full swing and we've got the top 15 players across the area.

Former WT standout and Winnipeg Blue Bomber Sergio Castillo joins us during his bye week for a sit down interview.  Sergio talks about how much fun he's having right now playing in the CFL, the great season he's having, fatherhood and tons more.  We also talk about some storylines heading into two a days that kickoff this morning across the Texas Panhandle.
