Jesus is the only earthly name given to the Christ.  Today we will study the earthly title that was given to the Messiah, the title of “God with Us”- Emmanuel

Today we look at the second half of Isaiah 53 and complete our study of the Servant, who bore our transgressions.  The Servant is perfectly successful in providing the vicarious atonement of the world.  He completed His career with amazing success and His substitution for the sins of mankind included you.

Today we will begin a study of one of the most incredible passages in the Old Testament. In this study we will examine the triumph of Christ as the Servant of Isaiah 52 and 53. We will see how the world is astonished, and deemed the Servant irrelevant, yet were shocked as the Servant rose from the most horrific death and claimed His rightful throne as the Lord of All.

Isaiah 50 presents to us the Servant who moves with confidence to the calling of the Lord. The Servant never flinches in His commitment to the call of suffering and redemption.
