David prayed, "Search me, oh God." He wanted to invite God in to show Him where he was missing the mark and allow God to lead in those areas.

Great leaders follow through. We want to be a person worth following. In order to do that we have to follow the One who is worth following in Jesus.

The early church made dangerous prayers and God showed up. Peter and John prayer for God to make them bold to preach the gospel even when they were facing persecution.

We kicked off a new sermon series talking about spiritual disciplines. Spiritual disciplines are not something we have to do but something we have the opportunity to do.

If Satan can't make you sin, he'll make you busy! When we live hurried lives we can often miss what's most important. God has created us to rest and delight in Him and get rid of distractions.

God has given us what we need but Satan often attacks us with the idea that we need more than we have. Adam and Eve had all they needed but Satan was able to deceive them to make them think they needed something they didn't truly need.

Satan is always going to attack. We must be on guard because he always seems to attack after we've been on the mountaintop. Even in the valley we can be confident in God, no matter what's next.
