This week, our Polk County Live baker Pam made a strawberry cheesecake. Nice, right? Even better, she delivered it in person!! Now Nick knows she is not Lauriane's imaginary friend, lol. Here is our chat with Pam and the taste test.

Pam, the Polk County Live baker outdid herself this week!! She'd heard Len talking about looking for peanut butter pie unsuccessfully so she jumped into action and created this glorious dessert!! Listen to us give it a try.

Today we spoke with the founder of Just Write, Lakeland, Jon Fedkiw. He told us about his organization and an upcoming production. The arts scene is alive and well in Lakeland!!

Micah Shane stopped by today for Polk County Live Unplugged and shared with us a tune he wrote inspired by the tragedy of a local young girl's suicide. There's a video of "Walk in Her Shoes" on our Facebook page . You can listen to the whole conversation right here. 

Local Lakelander Alexis Haggins has written a book. We invited her on the show to share her experience and tell the story of "Cursed."
