For your monthly Mental Health Check-Up, we've teamed up with the Peace River Center. Today we talked with the Director of Crisis Response Services, Kirk Fasshauer. It's a new year and many have made resolutions. Keeping them is one thing, but Kirk tells how to make them more manageable so they're easier for you to keep.

It's time for the Xmas Experience 2023!! It's a free family event with games, prizes, food trucks, and a live performance. A chance to take pictures with Santa and other characters. Friday 12/22 in Munn Park in Lakeland, 5-9pm.

We spoke with Jody Streussnig, one of the Program Managers with the Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, about the difficulties that can arise as a caregiver for a loved one with Alzheimer's, especially during the holiday season. Jody shares some tips on how to make it through the holidays despite the added stress.

It's a very interesting collaboration between two excellent guitarists featuring two vintage guitars that produce different sounds despite being the same make and model. This month for our Mental Health Check Up, we spoke with Tiffani Fritzsche, Director of Children's Services at the Peace River Center. Kids sometimes get overwhelmed around the holidays and Tiffani has tips on how to handle those situations.
