In the final section of Leviticus God looks to reform our lives. The next up is time. Time is the most valuable resource we have! How we use it says a lot about us. What does God have mind for it?

We are all born with desires, a fire that drives us. From the first moment we enter the world, we come crying & longing for comfort that never stops! Desires are a gift from God that must be focused. But how? Why do we need them really?

Every day we are faced with unimaginable human devastation to one another. It’s more than just bad upbringing or cultural evil shaping minds. We have a condition which is distorting us. Sin is our root issue. We explore the center of Leviticus, the center of the Torah, the heart of God! What is sin? How do we deal with it?

We are rocking out in the most strange part of Leviticus. The Purity Laws! Food, Birth, Skin Diseases, Mold, and Sex! What do these all mean? Does it hold meaning for me today?

Our worlds feel like a fight to be chosen. To be seen, affirmed & loved. We hustle, we maintain the right appearance, living an exhausting walk of self-promotion. What does Holy Love have to say about this?

For any relationship to flourish there must be materials brought to burn. These materials are time, energy, giving of abilities, etc. Relationships die when offerings are not made, when we don’t give of ourselves. This is the same with God and issue we find in our spiritual walk when we don't give fully of who we are. Is there anything burning in your life? What stops us burning?

One of the most beautiful expressions in humanity is sacrificial love! God gave it all for us and has come close. The 5 offerings which bring us close to God have a theme of surrender! This physical action of sacrifice is not what God desires but an obedient and surrendered heart. What does this mean for us as followers of Jesus?

The current achievement culture is obsessed with what we can do. The self-help, self-made which breeds self-reliance! I can pay it, earn it, get it! But this is counter to the Gospel. There is a gift that draws us near outside of ourselves! Join us as we jump back into Leviticus!

In our season of coming back to “The First Love”, a chance for us to reignite our passion for God. Our inspiration comes from the most miss understood love story, the book of Leviticus (yes you read that right). God’s heart has always been a pursuit of proximity, committed to being one with humanity. Join us as we intro this amazing book which is more than just a long list of laws and rituals!

THE LONGING FOR PEACE In our world today, we still see nations against nations, people against people, natural disasters, sickness, and diseases that feel very far from peace. Peace could be summarized as the absence of interruption, conflict, and disruption – the absence of anything other than pure tranquility. But God's vision for peace is so much more.

God is love. Love is not something that He has, rather love is who He is! So what does that mean for us in the longings of life?

As we celebrate the Arrivals of Jesus in advent. We look to what it means to wait well for His coming Kingdom. What does it means too long in hope?

It was a joy to have guest speaker Eric Ferguson with us! He gave a timely word to our church and finished our series on Generosity.  Do we trust in our resources, or do we trust in the source of our resources? Generosity is not a hard thing it's a heart thing. How can we live out living in the source?

Seeking first is a God given desire because God is interested in your “First”. Scripture has a lot to say about freely prioritizing God above all other things. The reality is, God wants your heart! Not what He wants from you… but for you! So how do we shift the heart with action, to be part of the generous Kingdom?

There are many treasures of material wealth that we think will define, elevate, or give worth to us. Jesus points to us these treasures will waste away but there is another treasure which will not. Where our treasure is so will our heart also be! What are the right treasures? How do we shift our heart to them?

What is it within us that fears there is not enough? What drives us to hoard? One of the trade marks of the Kingdom is "it is more blessed to give than receive."  How do we reconcile our own brokenness and live in the way of the Kingdom?

What is your quiet time producing in you? The conversion in Solitude is where real encounters with God can occur but does it cause us to re-enter to self love or greater love of others? We look at the life of Jesus and how His life in solitude produces feeding for many.

What are you doing here? When you finally find space to be alone, removing distractions, the needs of the to do list. We find deeper questions come to the surface. For many the self-reflection questions are either too deep or scary to process. But what if instead of running, we held our feelings? Naming them to change them, which would lead us to a deeper knowing of God & ourselves.

The Rich young ruler teaches that not everyones who's lives say they love God, are fully devoted to Him. How do we develop a desire of full obedience?

We can hear God! The heart of the Father is always to be in community with us! How do we hear God and why is it so hard?

There is an agenda for your soul… A noise so prolonged, words so endless… We don’t even notice its pull shaping our being. We need a counter cultural way that stops us from being distracted into oblivion. Over the next few weeks we will be looking at the importance of Silence & Solitude to form us into a truer way of love.

“There is a difference between forming ourselves and being formed, the issue is control.” We kick off our vision series reminding ourselves was it means to be a transforming people.

We have many doors of wants but there is one door that fulfills your deepest desires. Jesus' call to pray "Your Kingdom Come" is not just a nice invitation but a door way of life which brings life and life to the full. How do we keep our hands to this door?

Jesus had an uncanny ability to turn enemies into guests and guests into family. One of the great challenges we face in the US is the ever-increasing divided ideology. Many of us losing relationships as our culture is quicker than ever to disregard, divide, and demonize one another. We need to remind ourselves of the Jesus who welcomed the outsider which is transformed lives.

To experience healthy relationships and real belonging we must navigate difficult conversations. The issue is we have all been mentored by family & culture on how to do conflict. This has led for us to either choosing false peace or fighting dirty. To be children of His kingdom we must become peacemakers, so how?
