Insights, visions and truths from the end of the world - well, from an organic farm at the far end of Cornwall, UK - by Palden Jenkins, a veteran of the movement for change. About life, the world, other worlds, ancient worlds, future worlds and the rather interesting world of Paldywan Kenobi. Palden is a partially-disabled terminal cancer patient. He's a veteran in the movement for change, with not a lot of time left, who has a few things to say before he goes. He watches the world from far away, seeing things that many people with busy lives don't have time and space for.

Recycling Light | Past Lives 2 24.05.2026

With  Palden . This was the first part of a three-hour programme on Past Lives, in which I impart some of my own thoughts and experiences. A deep-level near-death experience I had at the age of 24 changed my life, and past life regression has been a key part of my growth path. Buddhism has affected me a lot, and reincarnation is baked into Buddhist philosophy. It's not the final answer to ever...

Recycling Light | Past Lives 1 24.05.2026

Palden welcomes the late Atasha MacMillan (Atasha Fyfe), then a Glastonbury regressionist, to talk about past life regression. She shares her experiences of what happens when you do a past life regression, and what life-enhancing insights, benefits and results come up. We discuss the connections between our lives today and deep memory of previous and even future lives.

Acceptance 06.05.2026

Acceptance is quite difficult for Westerners. We tend to want life to go the way we want it to go - and it doesn't. Life has its own agendas and game-plan. This becomes very apparent in late life, or when we contract debilitating, life-threatening illnesses like cancer, or when we acquire disabilities. That is, when we face death, over which we have little or no control. Death makes its own de...

Recycling Light | Meet the (former) Bard of Glastonbury 29.04.2026

With  Dearbhaile Bradley , at the time (2007) the Chaired Bard of Glastonbury. She's a true warrior of the heart and, like me, she has one foot in the world of spirit and one in the world of politics and society. Dearbhaile tells about Bardism and being a Bard, about her experiences growing up in  the conflict in Northern Ireland, about the Save Tara Campaign (saving a significant sacred site...

The Bronze Age in Penwith, and the end of a World 27.04.2026

I'm an historian who is deeply interested in prehistory, and I have an historian's viewpoint, looking at longer-term processes at work over time. Over the last fifteen years I have done a lot of research in West Penwith, Cornwall, where I live, and here are a few new thoughts on that matter. By examining its alignments system I was able to demonstrate that Penwith constituted a complete, i...

Why do People like visiting Ancient Sites? 22.04.2026

This is all about the energy-fields within ancient sites such as stone circles or chambered cairns and barrows. For these energy-fields have a psychoactive effect - they change our mood, optic and spirits - and it isn't difficult to experience this. And this, I suggest, is what draws us to them. Not just this, but it's also the reason the people of the Neolithic and the Bronze Age went to...

World Work 10.04.2026

A podcast about inner meditative work to help the world. This is a recording of a talk I gave in 2022 in Avebury, about the ins and outs of inner-working with crises, wars and acute situations around the world. Places such as Iran may seem a long way away, but it is on the same planet as we, and crises happening elsewhere are very much a part of our own lives. On the inner planes there is no dista...

Recycling Light | Crop Formations 01.04.2026

A rather special programme. Here we meet the (tragically) late Janet Ossebaard from the Netherlands and Rod Bearcloud , a native American from Sedona AZ, two croppies attending the Glastonbury Symposium of 2006, a crop circle conference. We discuss the significance of crop circles as a medium of contact with higher intelligences. About energy-fields, paranormal phenomena, the star nation people an...

Recycling Light | The Prehistoric Transition to Patriarchy 19.03.2026

With Bruce Garrard and Sig Lonegren - two old friends who, like me, have been involved in researching alternative archaeology, earth mysteries and prehistory. Sig talks about  geomancy, labyrinths and the dowsing of ancient sites. As a dowser, he can find information about ancient sites which the majority of us have no access to at all. Bruce talks about his research into climate change and transi...

Recycling Light | Rewilding, Climate Change and Shamanism 19.03.2026

An interview with Peter Taylor, a critical scientist, ecologist and shaman. He and I have been dialoguing for decades, as cousins of the soul, sharing a political-spiritual activist approach to our respective areas of work. He used to be a scientific adviser to Greenpeace in the 1980s and also to government and United Nations bodies on ecological matters, and he is a detractor in the climate quest...

Recycling Light | Brits in the Middle East 19.03.2026

With Colette Barnard and Tom Clark.  Collette tells of her experiences while living in Tehran during Khomeini's Iranian Revolution of 1978, and Tom tells us about his experiences in Palestine supporting good projects and his work with backchannel diplomacy in Beirut, dialoguing with Islamists. A programme from This is the Light Programme, hosted by Palden Jenkins, with Sir Tulki Joe Jenkins at the...

Amidst the Chaos and Dismay... 11.03.2026

Bombs are falling, strongmen are flouncing their stuff and the Megamachine happily strafes another family. It looks as if everything is going wrong. Not quite. These are the growing pains of the global community. We are learning how not to do it. And there's more going on underneath. I wrote this piece in 2003 on the buildup to the Iraq War and it's pertinent to give it another spin as the...

Old Blighty 20.02.2026

Britain: Librator and Oppressor A short history of the Isles of Britain in one hour. We Brits, we're proud of our history but most of us just know snippets about the Romans, 1066, Henry VIII and World War Two. Let me take you on a 6,000 year journey to see the forming of a nation. It's the story of an island people and their gifts and tribulations, and a succession of periods, phases, invasions, m...

Late Life 10.02.2026

Sooner or later, it hits us - old age. For people of my generation this can be a shock - we weren't prepared for this. You get creaky. You can't handle things you used to be able to do. Gravity gets heavier, bodily frailties set in, people forget you and doctors start taking over your life. But there's something special about this last stage of life - it's a chance to complete the story of our liv...

ET, Come Back! 28.01.2026

Amidst all the noise, bother and confusion pervading our world today, we need to zoom out, for there are far bigger questions to give attention to. These are not just the enormous challenges in our ecosystem and with the human condition that we see before us. There's more. We're heading for a time when as a planetary race we must face the fact that we are not alone. This has enormous implications....

A Slow Pod from the Far Beyond 25.01.2026

In which nothing much happens, and a whole lot happens. Today I took a walk down the field to the wood on our farm, and this is what happened - the sounds of Penwith on a midwinter's day. We've had plenty of rain, and you can hear the results. Recorded on Sunday 25th January 2026 in West Penwith, Cornwall, in the Isles of Britain. With love, Palden #foundsound #slowradio #slowpodcast #naturesounds

Making a Difference 22.01.2026

This is a short talk I gave recently in Penzance, Cornwall, during a Palestine-support event. Many of us get caught up in the big issues, often concerning our own countries' politics and inadvertently forgetting actual Palestinians in places like Gaza - and the politics is a nightmare that's going nowhere anytime soon. Here I talk about making friends with an actual Gazan, taking a person-to-perso...

The Tuareg of the Sahara 10.12.2025

I've been working with a village of Tuareg for ten years, in a small people-sized support operation. They live in the Sahara desert, a day away from the historic city of Timbuktu in Mali, out in the vastness. We restocked their goats and camels after a terrible drought, helped them dig a new well and build a small village school. But now I need to pull out - I can't continue with things I used to...

Penwith Elders Speak 08.12.2025

A talk by Ba Miller, who lives below Trencrom Hill, and Palden Jenkins, who lives on a farm in Grumbla, both in West Penwith, Cornwall. It happened in Penzance, Cornwall, on Sunday 7th December 2025 with a lovely group of people attending. Energy-lines, the Michael and Apollo Lines, dowsing, landscape temples, consciousness, power points, reality bubbles, changing the world and stuff like that. In...

About Pain 02.12.2025

There's a lot of it around - both physical and emotional, manifesting in all sorts of ways. As a cancer patient, over the last six years I've had my fair share. Pain isn't an absolute thing - it depends a lot on our experience of it and how we feel about it, as to how much it hurts. In modern times, we make rather a big deal of it and avoid it like the plague. We've come to regard it as a mental h...

Consciousness Fields 11.10.2025

Ancient sites: why did the people of the Neolithic and the Bronze Ages go to so much trouble building their sacred sites? There are thousands of them around Britain alone. They didn't do it for frivolous reasons - it had to bring them benefit to make it worth it. Well, it's all to do with cranked-up consciousness fields and the possibilities that become available when we do focused consciousness w...

Tipping into the Future 01.10.2025

My thoughts on the current vexatious world situation and some of the threads that lie behind it. All about the incremental shift of world power, people against the Megamachine, Gaza, the decline of the West, and a few things like that. Here's an astrological article I wrote about the 2020s in 2020: https://penwithbeyond.blog/2020s/. And, if it interests you, here's something I wrote in 2011, durin...

Gaza | A Spiritual Humanitarian Mission 20.09.2025

Many people feel deeply frustrated that they can't do anything much to help the people in and around Gaza. This is one way to work with this feeling, to make something of it. It's a way of getting in through the back door and doing something instead of wringing hands. If you haven't done this kind of thing before, then follow this guided meditation as a starting place. I encourage you to be imagin...

Reality Fields 12.08.2025

The ancients worked with a kind of consciousness technology, and they designed their sacred sites for this purpose. They located them carefully, building them over underground water and energy-vortices, orienting them to the rising and setting points of the sun and moon, constructing them to reflect and embody the fundamental principles of the universe. They did this to create spaces - crucibles -...

Intuition 23.07.2025

Following on from  Inner Doctors , this is about a related issue, a pathway, a way of processing, a way of answering questions and solving problems. Sometimes, with a wry twist, I call it  intwitting  - this is etymologically rooted in the Germanic word  Wit , meaning intelligence or awareness. A cultural bias in our modern world tends to regard intuitives as twits, as somehow weak, foolish and ir...
