That's it Middle School is over and now time for the real world... High School. This change can really scare you but you can also learn a lot about yourself during these years before you go to college.

We jump into this podcast talking about things that has happened to us throughout the years of coming to Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs. Then our special come in and joins us on the podcast.

I am really glad that our members want to talk about how they feel. It is very important to empower our youth and let them have a say so in what's happening to them.

What's Barnes & Noble? Should I just give you the answer? Just listen to the podcast I don't want to give it away.

I am glad to know that some people still enjoy watching classic movies. I remember the days of VHS and DVDs. Now it's all about streaming channels. How things have changed. The love for cinema is still going strong.

Now that the job market has changed after Covid 19 we have to think about different job opportunities. This podcast is about those new jobs.

We do it big at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. We rented the whole movie theater so that the summer camp members can watch Despicable Me 4.

We had over 3 heat waves already in NYC this summer. Thanks to the partnership with Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and Roberto Clemente State Park we have a place to have our members cool off every Thursdays.

Some of our members dream of owning an exotic pet but didn't think about what it takes to own an exotic. In this podcast they get some of those questions answered from a regular pet owner like me.

Group #2 was in trouble for most of the day and this podcast is about all the things that went wrong and how we can all learn and move on from this.

Today we get all the down low information from a group of girls about their middle school drama. They kick me out the podcast and welcome Isabella as a guest.

Every summer we get some young adults working in the SYEP program. This might be their first job or a way to save some money for college. I enjoy talking to them and explaining how the workforce works.

During the first few days of camp we try to teach the members a lot. This might be a new building for them so we give them all the house rules and get right into fire safety .

I know siblings can be a handful. When I asked this summer camp member how was his day and he starts the story that his sister broke his PS 5 I knew it had a good story around it.

The start of summer camp brings many new faces to Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs. New Staff, members, and SYEP

Many members don't like picking up books to read. We have to be able to still share information with each other and the podcast is a way to bridge the gap.

We are a few days into Baychella Summer Camp and some members already have a favorite class. Can't wait to see if its the same class at the end of the summer.

It's has taken me a long time to get these very important women to do a podcast. I would like to put the blame on them but the truth is that they work really hard and its not easy to get them in the same place at one time. I appreciate them sitting down with me for 20 minutes so that we can learn a little of what they do at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. 

Season #8 is in the books. It was a great year now we switch over to Summer Camp mode. we will continue bringing you the best podcast from the members and staff of The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs.

This podcast is a conversation with a few paras from PS. 469 and we discuss all topics related to what they do in their school. Thank you for all the support you give the teachers and more importantly our students. .
