Podcasting in Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club

Bonus podcast are great. I hope the Junior members are honest with this podcast and really say what they would change about themselves. You have to listen to know.

I love it when a plan comes together. The members of KB Social are ahead of every other group with content. Todays podcast is about what they learned in there lesson this week about kindness & compassion. Its aways great to hear things from a members point of view.

Kips Bay Digital Arts is spreading the knowledge to all our members. We have been running a limited videography class with our Junior group but we are setting it up for everyone to be involved. I taught the class yesterday and lets see what our members learned.

Kips Bay Digital Arts is so happy to have our Beat Making Class back. In the next few weeks we be up and running. I just wanted to give our members the good news. I will be doing a podcast soon with our new employee and speaking to him about some new programs we will be working on.

During spring break I have a chance to grab a few staff members to do a podcast and this was a great time to welcome our new directors to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club family.

KB Social is leading the way with it's 6th Episode. Today the youngest members deal with topic that might be very hard to talk about racism. It's never to early to deal with this topic. If we talk about it we can learn from it and also find a way to respect each other. I like to see complicated issue being talked about from a young persons point of view. 

Todays conversation is about pen pals. If you don't know what a pen pal is it's a friend you write to and most of the time the person is far away maybe even in another country. This is great to know that our young members are learning a different way to reach out to friends. Well my BECA inters got back to me and said my parents didn't listen to the podcast yet because it was in English. Ok lets give them what they want. This podcast is all in Spanish I hope they listen now. 

In todays episode we talk about grudges. They might be to young but they to might be holding a grudge. We explain what it means and different ways we can solve holding grudges. Can't we just all get along?

I like to think that we can all be positive humans. Sometimes we are just not having a good day. In todays Episode of KB Social we explore what is the best and worst part of each others day.

KB Social is a podcast show that lets the members of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club talk about different things that effect their lives. In todays episode we talk about being generous to each other. This is a great thing to speak on with all thats happening in the world these days.

Now that we have saved some money what are we going to buy? Our members at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club will try and guess what certain things cost. How much is Gas, What are the price of the sneakers you are wearing. How long will you have to save to get these items. We will soon find out.

Money, Money, Money... The members at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club are designing Piggy Banks to start saving some money. Lets hear what these young members are saving up for. I like that they are setting goals for the future. We should all save for a rainy day and learn from these young children.

Street Smarts is a new podcast with the young members of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club that opens the conversation for what if. Today we will be asking some tuff questions and hope we can learn from each others answers. Every parent should listen to this podcast. 

Streets Smarts is our new podcast at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club that educates our listeners to the things happening around them. Teaching each other and dealing with other scenarios is an important way to learn different ways to deal with things that can happen. There is no right answer but the conversation is real good.

We keep learning different ways to stay safe in the streets. Today we take a different approach at it and play a different role the role of the bystander. This is an important role because you do not want to get involved but you can be very helpful in giving the Police information. Listen up and learn from the young members at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Be Safe in the streets.

This is a great thing to talk about with our young members. Generosity can mold your life in many ways. It shows you how to care for others feelings. It shows that you don't only think of yourself. It's a great way to make long life friends.

In todays episode we talk about paychecks and direct deposit. The members learn the difference of each one and the advantages of each. Its never to early to teach this young members of what their parents and staff have to do with their payroll. We have a very open conversation about all these things. Listen up they know more than you think.

Wide World Of Sports Podcast is all about different sports through out the world. Every member of the podcast will pick a different sport to focus on. We will learn the history, rules, famous player, equipment and where do people play the sport. Oh I threw them a twist so no member can pic the major American sports like Baseball, Football, Hockey or Basketball. Lets see what they come up with.
