The Psalms are often referred to as Israel's songbook. Many of these songs are penned by King David. Psalm 1 reveals two choices and two consequences for every person, and the deciding factor at the heart of it all is the Word of God.

Not only is God powerful, but He is kind. We see his grace on display through King David to a young man who expected a much different type of treatment. This is a simple story of extravagant grace and kindness.
