Playing Games With My Kids

We finally made time to start digging into Portal 2! This is Part 1 of the Portal 2 series where the kids played through the Team Building test chambers!

We finally sit down to discuss our Top 5 games of 2025!

In this episode we let Lucas talk a little more than usual about trains because he finally picked up Derail Valley but we also talk about Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Revenge, and most importantly, Lego Party!

Hey, we are back - again! We have been out for a minute, so we talk about a lot of games including, Donkey Kong Bananza, Pikmin 4, Marvel Cosmic Invasion and more!

We gave it some time - now we talk about the Nintendo Switch 2! Mario Kart World, New Lego Fortnite Modes, Cyberpunk 2077 and even a bonus Donkey Kong Bananza! We discuss the system, the games and some of the nice bonuses of the backwards compatality.

This week we finally return to talk about a few things - Lego City Undercover, the early access game Railroader, and waiting in line for the Nintendo Switch 2!

After business and sickness, we finally sit down to just chit chat about that Nintendo Switch 2 and the fun things around it!

We finally talk about those Co-Op games I made time for with the kids, Elise gets farther in Echoes of Wisdom, and we dive into the competitive game of Crawl!

The kids give me the breakdown on Lego Brick Life and we get Lucas' rating on the Doom Train in Final Fantasy VI

We have a chin wag about the teaser for the Nintendo Switch 2!

I sat with the kids one on one to see how they would handle the really interesting and clever puzzle game that is Portal!

The year has wrapped and it's time to talk about our favorite games in 2024! I don't hold the kids to the requirement that the game released in 2024, so really it's mostly about celebrating the games they got into the most this year (though, mine are all 2024 releases).

I decided to let the kids try the PSVR with some Everybody's Golf and Iron Man!

Would you believe that we talk about Splatoon and Trains again? I try to talk about Dragon Age: The Veilguard and the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake as well.

This week we talk about Monster Truck Championship, the new Lost Isle in Lego Fortnite and get more into The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

September is going to have a few bangers I think - this week we get to talk about one of the big ones - Astro Bot! Also this week we talk about Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate and some new Lego Fortnite content!

Let's talk a little Princess Peach Showtime, get an update on Train Sims, and talk some more Splatoon! Even a little Cat Quest! I feel like we keep coming back after long breaks, but it's the end of the Summer now so hopefully we can stay more consistent!

The kids asked if we could do a podcast; of course I'm happy to oblige! They tell me about their time in Lego City Undercover, the demo for Princess Peach Showtime, and of course... trains

We finally found some time to sit down and chat once again, and this time, we talk about our favorite games of 2023!

We played some Mario Wonder as a family while I also played a lot of Spider-Man 2!

It's been too long! Sometimes we lose privileges, sometimes life just gets in the way and sometimes we just don't have the time. But we are back to talk about Spyro the Dragon, Power Wash Simulator, and our time playing the demo for Super Mario Bros. Wonder!

Summer is over, school has started and we are finally back to recording! Animal Crossing updates, Ninja Turtles and some Tony Hawk!

Not much for Video Games at all in this one, but a lot about livin'. We just talk about the time we all got to send together during my week off - which is also why we haven't podcasted in a bit! Sorry about that!
