A woman accidentally shot herself last night in the Strip District. Police and EMS were called to Cheerleaders in the 3100 block of Liberty Avenue around 7:30 p.m. The 21-year-old woman who works at Cheerleaders told officers she was going through her bag in the ladies room when her gun went off, wounding her in the thigh. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

A Flood Advisory is in effect through Thursday along the Ohio River. Rising water is covering the Mon Parking Wharf, the North Shore riverwalk and the Tenth Street Bypass. The river is expected to crest this afternoon at 23 feet. The National Weather Service says Sunday's rainfall broke the daily record for January 28th with just over 1 inch.

US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will be in town today promoting $196 million in federal spending on infrastructure.
