it's Halloween at Phil's Inn and Brad tries his best to celebrate All Hallows' Eve . . .  

Following the lead of the amazing Dr. Mouth, Brad decides to do a two part Halloween show. Hear is the first part . . . enjoy . . . no "Monster Mash" shit either . . .

Brad does yet another fill-in but, this time, he has Shari Ulrich, Canadian Folk Music legend, on the show for a great interview . . . enjoy . . .

Brad offers a salute to Toronto and then later plays a pre-halloween-ish set.

Brad decides, at the last minute, to celebrate and honour the female voice - the voices of angels - and enjoys a vist from a real live angel - singer Beverley Taft - and her uke . . . 

Once again, Brad takes a fill-in show - in Db Hawke's old shift - and attempts to wear clownsized shoes . . . 

Brad decides, at the last moment actually, that lately the themes have been a bit dark. As penance, he has decided to play music and sounds that will, hopefully, put a smile on that mug of yours . . .   

The Inn is hosting the Hotel, Motel, and Innkeepers Association of Canada - South Central Ontario and Upper New York State Local 237's annual convention. In their honour, Brad decides to showcase hotels and motels . . . enjoy your stay . . . p.s. the towels are on chains now so don't even think about stealing them . . . 

Visiting the site of the new 36 storey Phil's Inn Condominium Suite and Entertainment Centre, Brad decides work is a noble enough topic to deserve its own show. Enjoy, you wages slaves , , , 

Never one to pass up on an adventure, Brad accepts an invitation to ride in the cabin of an imaginary steamtrain . . . 

For reasons known only to him, Brad decides to focus on Time and its envitable by-product - Aging. The show gets kinda sombre so don't be expecting a dance party . . . maybe next week . . . 

Brad decides it is too hot to do much of anything, and he would rather lounge in a hammock than man the Front Desk. All that was missing is Mrs. Spicer's mushroom omelettes . . . 

Having seen Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey a few times now, Brad figures a show on travel with get the wanderlust out of his system . . . 

Brad finds "decent" weather unnerving so he creates a rainstorm at Phil's Inn . . . also Duncan Fremlin from Whiskey Jack shows up for a short chat  . . . ignore the confusion at the beginning of the show . . . 

Frank Ziorone, producer/writer/performer of the great show "The Ones - The Beatles #1 Hits", drops by the Inn for a chat about the Beatles. We Swap storeies like two old farts at play . . . 

In honour of the great Funkmeister, Walther Funk, Brad cranks up wall-to-wall funk . . . dance yourself stupid . . .  

Brad loves doing fill-ins . . . especially 12 - 2 pm on a wednesday - Db hawkes old shift . . .

Because it is too big to ignore, Brad decides to look at America on its 250th Birthday . . . is it right to celebrate something on life support?

Brad decides to celebrate Canada Day the best way he knows how - by being on the air broadcasting wall-to-wall Canadian artists . . . 

For no reason particular, Brad decides to devote the show this afternoon to organ music . . . that's right, organ music . . . you got a problem with that? 

After last week's show on death, Brad went into a deep contemplation of the nature of the universe - is it random or is it determined? Is it cause and effect or a roll of the dice? You decide . . . 

Returning to Ernest Becker's incredible book, The Denial of Death, Brad decides to take a risk and look at songs about death through the lens of Becker's insights and proclamations  . . . 

After one of the most chaotic and horrid shows last week, Brad goes to a tropical beach in some undisclosed location to get centred - in spite of the bad optics !!! Does he redeem himself this week? . . . you decide . . .
