Perspectives - The Podcast

This episode is a bit of a mish-mosh of some crazy things that Laura has had going on - and a big question that we tackle... Can/do people really change? We also had a bit of a technical glitch, so unfortunately, the episode has a bit of an abrupt ending - for which we are both bummed and do apologize!! 

Jess and Laura's birthdays are a week apart, and just happened, and so they decided to take some time to reflect on getting older, how they feel about that - and more specifically - what kinds of things they would tell their younger selves if they could!! Also - they are looking for feedback on what kinds of topics you might be interested in hearing them discuss on the pod!!

In a continuation of our last episode (albeit VERY delayed), we dive into a whole new topic than we've ever dabbled in before - the world of weight loss and GLP-1s!

Jess and Laura are talking about understanding our personal "whys" - what motivates us, what determines our priorities and informs our decisions; the  reasonings - our "Why" - for doing the things we do. Join us as we look at some of our own personal whys, and how we try to be intentional about living by them.

With the holidays obviously on everyone's mind, the ladies squeezed one episode in talking about that very topic. They discuss their own traditions, how things have changed over the years, and what deeper significance the holidays hold for them. 

With the holiday, and work, and generally - LIFE, there's been some lag time between recording and getting this episode posted...but ironically that's because (in part) the ladies are trying to maintain some life balance - exactly what this episode happens to be about!! In this episode they are talking not just about work-life balance, but what balance in life looks like (at least in theory).

In today's episode, the ladies are discussing how life shifts and changes, and how friendships are part of that evolution process. While both Laura and Jessi have moved away from this space personally, they still feel it represents a significant sub cultural that is influential in many ways, and worth a conversation.
