While some of us who take care of children for a living feel comfortable around sick kids' others disagree and get a bit nervous under the same circumstances. Probably the most common procedure I perform in the Pediatric ER and one I particularly like. Suturing. Which rules do I use and what is my anticipatory guidance for these parents.
