This week we continued our series on Psalms of thanksgiving. By spending time in Psalm 100 we were able to see, how we praise God, and why we praise God. He is God, the only God, and He deserves our praise.

We are starting a new series in Psalms for the month of November. We will mostly be focusing on Psalms of praise, but for this week we decided to start our study with a Psalm of Lament. We wanted to better understand the practice of lament and how we can lament in worship of the Lord.

This week, we close out our series in John. For our last week we put ourselves in the shoes of the disciples as Jesus is about to ascend back into heaven. Jesus spends His final days with Peter and the disciples trying to prepare them for what to do after He is gone. What He teaches them, can now teach us.

This week Nathaniel steps in to remind us about the brevity of Life. This is an important reminder for us as Christians, because if we want our lives to count for God, we need to be aware of how short they are.

This weeks sermon comes from John 20, where we explore the belief of John, Mary Magdalene, Peter and Thomas. How Jesus ministered to them and still ministers to us in our unbelief.

This week we spent our time in John 19. This was the moment that Jesus went to the cross to pay the ransom for my sin and for yours. We took time to reflect on the price that was paid for our sin by Jesus.

On the day before Jesus’ death, we get a look into how He handled those events in comparison to some of his followers. The second to last day is pointing us to the reality of what is about to happen.

Our message today comes from John 17. It is amazing that before He was arrested, Jesus took time to pray for us! What can the prayer of Jesus, teach us about our own prayer lives? That's the question we tried to unpack in today's message.

Our message today is from John 15&16. Jesus gives His disciples a difficult promise, they will face hate and persecution from the world. The good news is, there is also the promise of hope, joy, and victory in Jesus.

This week we continue our journey through the book of John, with John 15:1-17. We are talking about what it means to abide with Jesus. We are just branches attached to the true vine and apart from abiding in Him we are unable to do anything. I pray this message would be used by God in your life this week. Love you guys! Pastor Sam
