We are taking a week break from our series in Isaiah to focus on one of my favorite mothers in the Bible, Hannah. We will be looking specifically at the perseverance of Hannah and how she honors God with her prayer life, in the difficult situation that she finds herself in. This story has much to teach about perseverance in our own prayer lives.

This message is from Isaiah chapter 11. This chapter explores restoration that is promised through the coming of the Messiah. Jesus is restoring lives today through His death, burial, and resurrection. We examine all the restoration themes from chapter 11.

This week our message is from Isaiah chapter 6. Where we see Isaiah has a vision of God. This is one of the most powerful chapters in the entire book of Isaiah. We see that the encounter that Isaiah had with God leaves him changed. The same is true with us, when we encounter God, we cannot help but leave changed. My prayer is that you have an encounter with the Holy God this morning.

This week our message is from Isaiah chapters 2-4. Isaiah 2-4 talks about what is to come in the future not just for Judah and the nation of Israel but for all of us. It is important to keep our eyes on what is to come because we want to live expectant lives. We want to live like Jesus is coming back, it will help us to be bold for the gospel. We have hope for the future.

We are starting into a series in Isaiah called God's restoration promises. We are going to dive into the background of Isaiah this morning, and also talk about how chapter 1 of Isaiah really sets the table for the rest of the book. Judah & Israel are nations living in rebellion to God and yet there is hope for these sinful nations because of the grace of God.

Happy Easter Sunday! He is risen indeed! On this Easter Sunday our passage will be Matthew 12:38-42. Jesus is responding to a request from the religious leaders. He is telling them that He will give them the sign of Jonah, and that something greater is with them. Do you see that something greater is available to you, through the resurrection of Jesus.

On this Palm Sunday we look at the last passion prediction that Jesus made to His disciples. Jesus is seeking to teach them what they do not understand.

Over the weeks leading up to Easter we are going to be studying the Passion Predictions of Jesus. This week we are going to be looking at the second passion prediction that Jesus makes in Mark 9. Jesus is going to use this prophecy about His death to teach His disciples about what it means to be truly great.

This week we are starting an Easter series on the Passion Predictions on Jesus. There are 3 times that Jesus predicts His own death in the book of Mark. This week we are looking at the first Passion Prediction in Mark 8: 27-38.

This week we are talking about the establishment of the Church. Jesus was the one who established the Church, it was His plan for the world after He left to rejoin God in heaven. We are going to be looking at what Jesus had to say about the Church and why it is so important in our lives.

We are talking about the spiritual discipline of Sabbath this week Sabbath was misunderstood by the religious leaders during the ministry of Jesus and it can still be misunderstood today. What principles does God's Word give us to help us honor the Sabbath in the way that God intended.

Our message for this week comes from Matthew 6:5-13. We are focusing on the spiritual discipline of prayer. Prayer can be easily overlooked or pushed to the back in the life of a Christian. Yet, when we look at the life of Jesus we see how He modeled prayer in His life and taught us to pray.

We have reached week 3 of our series on spiritual health and this week we tackle discipleship. In order to make disciples we have to be disciples ourselves. We examine what the call of Jesus is on our lives when He calls us to make disciples.

I apologize that there was no episode last week, the YouTube audio from our livestream was missing. This week we had our second week in our series on pursuing spiritual health. We explored the discipline of fasting. What Jesus said about it, how it was practiced by God’s people, and how we should be practiced in our lives.

On this New Years Eve, Shawn Butler leads us through the story of Paul. He reminds us that God can redeem anyone and use them for His purpose and Glory.

This week we finish our series on rejoicing with Psalm 118. Our focus was on what it looks like to rejoice because we have the Lord on our side.

In this weeks episode we spend our time in Psalm 115. The writer of the Psalm is calling the people to give praise to God. We examine the fact that praise does not belong to us or is to be given to idols. We want to place our praise where it is worthy, and God is the only worthy One.
