Alignment Sounds Like Surrender 05.07.2026 37:24
In this message from Luke 22:39–46, we look at Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and learn what true surrender sounds like. Jesus prayed, “Not my will, but yours be done.” This is one of the hardest prayers any follower of Christ can pray. It is easy to trust God when His will matches ours, but surrender begins when His will leads us somewhere we would not choose on our own. This sermon ex...

This message explores what persistent prayer really means—and why God's delays should never be mistaken for His absence. In this sermon you'll discover: • Why persistent prayer isn't about convi...

Most of Us Don’t Know How to Pray 14.06.2026 46:40
What did Jesus really mean when He taught His disciples to pray? In Luke 11:1-4, the disciples asked a simple but powerful question: "Lord, teach us to pray." In this message, we discover that prayer is far more than asking God for things. Prayer aligns our hearts with God's will, deepens our dependence on Him, and leads us into greater surrender. In this sermon you'll learn: • Why many Christians...
The Beauty of a Quiet Life 07.06.2026 53:36
In a world that constantly tells us to do more, achieve more, and become more, God's invitation is surprisingly different. In this message from our Upside Down Kingdom series, we explore Psalm 34, Psalm 116, and 1 Thessalonians 4 to discover the beauty of a quiet life. A life rooted in gratitude, contentment, rest, and confidence in Christ. You'll learn: • Why gratitude is not based on circumstanc...
When Gratitude Doesn't Make Sense 31.05.2026 48:15
What happens when it feels like everyone else is winning while you're struggling to stay faithful? In this message from Psalm 73, we explore one of the greatest enemies of gratitude: comparison. Asaph looked around and saw the wicked prospering while he remained faithful to God. Like many of us, he began questioning whether obedience was really worth it. But everything changed when he entered God'...
Praise That Refuses to Lie 24.05.2026 40:07
What gets loudest in your storm? In this message from our Upside Down Kingdom series, we explore Psalms 13 and 42 and discover that biblical praise is not pretending everything is okay. Real praise tells the truth about pain while refusing to abandon the truth about God. When life gets difficult, we all face a choice. Will fear, anxiety, disappointment, and offense become the thunder in our storm?...
Don’t Forget What He’s Done 17.05.2026 31:12
This week we launch our new series Upside Down Kingdom: Finding Gratitude in the Psalms. Psalm 103 reminds us that gratitude is deeper than emotions and bigger than circumstances. When storms come—and they will—we have a choice: Fear or faith. Anxiety or worship. Forgetfulness or remembrance. The Kingdom of God produces people who choose gratitude before circumstances change. In this message we ex...
Holiness Doesn’t Let You Stay 10.05.2026 51:15
In this final message of the “Holy Revealed” series through Isaiah, we look at what happens when a holy God truly changes a person. Isaiah’s encounter with God didn’t end with conviction or cleansing — it ended with surrender. “Here I am, Lord. Send me.” This message challenges us to stop living casually before God and step into full surrender, obedience, and dependence on Him. In this message: Ho...
What Are You Afraid Of? 03.05.2026 48:55
What does it really mean to fear the Lord? In this message from our Holy Revealed series, Scott Schaefer teaches from Isaiah 8 and challenges us to recover a holy reverence for God. The fear of the Lord is not about running from God. It is about seeing His holiness clearly and responding with worship, trust, obedience, and surrender. In a world filled with fear, confusion, noise, and distractions,...
Holiness Burns Before It Heals 26.04.2026 35:54
God does not expose you to abandon you. He exposes what He wants to restore. In this message from Isaiah 6:6–7, we look at the moment when the burning coal touches Isaiah’s lips. Isaiah had confessed his uncleanness before a holy God, but God did not leave him undone. God moved toward him, cleansed him, and removed what Isaiah could never remove on his own. Holiness burns before it heals. But the...
Seeing God Ruins Pretending 19.04.2026 30:46
What happens when seeing God ruins your ability to pretend? In Isaiah 6, Isaiah stands before the holiness of God and his first response is not comparison, excuses, or self-improvement. His response is confession: “Woe is me, for I am ruined.” This message from our Holy Revealed series reminds us that the presence of God exposes what we often try to hide. We can pretend in front of people, minimiz...
God Is Not Like Us 12.04.2026 38:35
What happens when you don’t just talk about God, but actually encounter Him? In Week 1 of our new series, Holy Revealed, we walk through Isaiah 6:1–4 and see a powerful truth: God is not like us. He is holy, unmatched, and worthy of awe. In this message, we look at how God shakes what we rely on, corrects our understanding, and reveals His glory in a way that changes everything. This is more than...
The Lord Dwells Among His People 05.04.2026 39:32
In this message, we close out our Return to Me series in Joel with a powerful reminder: the resurrection didn’t just fix what was broken, it changed everything. Walking through Joel 3:17–21, this sermon shows us that God’s goal was never just to repair ruined things. His desire has always been to dwell with His people again. Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, a way was made for true nearnes...

The Promise of the Holy Spirit 22.03.2026 34:46
In this message, we continue our “Return to Me” series through the book of Joel and look at Joel 2:28–32, “The Promise of the Spirit.” God’s promise was never just restored circumstances. His promise was His Spirit poured out on His people. In this message, we see that when God pours out His Spirit, He awakens every generation, calls people to return, and invites us not just to feel something, but...
Re-Calibrate 15.03.2026 37:02
This message is a powerful call to repentance, surrender, and spiritual recalibration. Too often we ask God to bless our plans instead of surrendering to His. In this sermon, we walk through what real repentance looks like, why grief over sin matters, and how Psalm 51 shows us the heart God responds to. In this message: Why repentance is still essential The 5 stages of true repentance What Psalm 5...
Who We Are Becoming Matters 08.03.2026 30:55
In this message from Joel 2:18–27, we see a turning point in the book of Joel: when God’s people return to Him, He responds with compassion and restoration. This sermon explores how God restores what was lost, redeems wasted seasons, and shapes who we are becoming through every trial. God is not only interested in fixing circumstances. He is forming identity, restoring worship, renewing joy, and r...
Rend Your Hearts 01.03.2026 43:42
In Joel 2:12–14, God calls His people to return—not with outward performance, but with inward surrender: “Tear your hearts, not just your clothes.” This message is the turning point of the “Return to Me” series—where God’s mercy meets our repentance. You’ll hear why behavior modification can’t replace heart transformation, why it’s not too late (“even now”), and what it looks like to choose obedie...

Blow the Trumpet 22.02.2026 46:19
In today’s message, Scott walks through Joel 2:1–11 and gives a clear, practical picture of what repentance really is—not just turning away, but grieving sin, turning to God, and moving forward without looking back. You’ll also hear a simple framework he calls the “Five C’s”: conviction, confession, contrition, cleansing, and consecration—so repentance doesn’t stay vague, it becomes actionable. If...

Grief Is the Right Response 15.02.2026 46:43
In Joel 1:13–20, we see a hard but hopeful truth: grief is the right response when we finally recognize what sin has damaged in our lives, our homes, and our church. This message walks through five realities from the passage: grief begins with leadership, grief is meant to be public (not hidden), grief recognizes the Day of the Lord, grief refuses to minimize the loss, and true grief always ends i...

Something Is Broken 08.02.2026 48:13
We’re starting a new series through the book of Joel called Return to Me—a series about repentance and restoration, not light and fluffy faith. Joel opens in a moment of national crisis: wave after wave of loss. But this isn’t just a disaster story—it’s a spiritual wake-up call. God uses disruption to expose what’s broken, not to punish His people, but to bring them back with wholehearted repentan...
