Rod finishes our Daniel series by walking through the 4 scenes of Daniel 7 and how the beastly kingdoms of this world are still under the authority of God's forever-king.

Nebuchadnezzar defies God by setting up an idol to his own glory and insisting everyone worships it. God's people in turn defy Nebuchadnezzar, refusing to worship any but the true God. God in turn shows he is the true God, who alone is worthy of worship by rescuing his people.

Guest speaker Simon Flinders finishes our Big Day In weekend by showing us Mary and Martha and the importance of having Jesus himself as the most important thing.

What is it that makes someone belong to the church? God's word reminds Gentiles (most of us!) that: 1) It was God who brought you in - so who can question that you belong? 2) God brought you in for his glory - so who can set any limits on God's grace?

Jono encourages us to keep going in following Jesus, even through the ups and downs. Ephesians 1 says we do that by knowing God better - his hope, his riches, and his power.
