Palestine Remembered talks to Palestinian Christian Areej Masoud from Bethlehem.  During the interview we visit the challenges Palestinian women face getting breast screenings as well as the normalisation of relations between Arab states and Israel, plus much more.  Areej Masoud was recently in Australia on a tour organised by the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN).

This Week Palestine Remembered presents a collection of Arabic language songs and poems on the themes of Palestine and Resistance.  Yousef introduces works by Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese (and other nationalities) artists, all performing in Arabic.

Michael Shaik returns to Palestine Remembered.  Michael is a local author and actvist with Palestinian groups both here and abroad.  They discuss recent developments in Palestine, including the August 9 bombing of a cultural centre in Gaza and the continuing targetting of Palestinian intellectuals and cultural activists.

This week on Palestine Remembered we look at the ongoing Nakba, and the crisis in Syria as it affects the citizens of Yarmouk camp in the southern part of Damascus.

This week Palestine Remembered revisits Yarmouk and Syria, we discuss the ongoing Nakba and devastation of the once almost "normal" Palestinian life and what has happened to those who have survived this most recent of Nakba's and the forced removal of almost 1100 families to North Aleppo. 

This week Palestine Remembered interviews Miko Peled, an Israeli-American activist and author of The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine and Injustice: The Story of the Holy Land Foundation Five. 

Our guest this week is Dr Olfat Mahmoud, an inspiring Palestinian woman who visited Australia last week to launch her book "Tears for Tarshiha".  The book beautifully narrates Olfat's journey as a refugee and her never-ending longing for return to Palestine.  Olfat is also a director of an NGO that provides support for women in some of the camps in Lebanon.

Palestine Remembered interviews Palestinian-American human rights attorney Noura Erakat, an Assistant Professor at George Mason University and we also discuss the passing of the “Nation State” bill in the Israeli Knesset. 

Palestinian journalist and activist Mutasem Dalloul spoke to us from Gaza about his role in the Great Return March as a journalist, participant and a person who survived serious injury from Israeli snipers. Mutasem shed light on the deep impact of the prolonged siege especially on the health sector in Gaza, the use of poisonous bullets and other forms of Israeli violations of human rights.

Palestine remembered speaks about the momentous and courageous decision of the Irish senate to pass the first BDS legislation in the EU, we also commemorate Palestinian leader and revolutionary Ghassab Kanafani, and congratulate Palestinian students in their Tawjihi (Year 12) results and report on the ongoing humanitarian disaster occurring in Gaza.
