From Crabtree Meadow to the top of Mt Whitney! The Gossamer Girls with Rocket Man and Aidan for the last 4 days have made it to the top!

So I took a few days off and combined three days of their hiking... I needed a break but now we are BACK! Listen up they are 1 day from Witney!

So the Time Out with Patty C crew took time to record a podcast episode about Hiking. It's like the cross over episodes between two separate podcasts! Give it a listen!

OK they took off from the Kearsarge Pass and made it to the Mt Williamson Motel! Litseten to how they are all doing!!!! Hint they all got trail names so you have to listen!

So the team will leave Rae Lakes and head over to Kearsarge Pass.

The Gossamer Girls will wake up at Woods Creek and meander down to Rae Lake and camp for the night.

Today the Gossamer Girls travel from Lake Marjorie to Rae Lakes. They will loose some elevation over Pinchot Pass and the meander through Woods Creek and then up another 2,000 feet to Rae Lakes

The Gossamer Girls will head from the bottom of the Golden Staircase and climb over the hardest pass they say of the JMT, The Mather Pass. The will end at Lake Mojorie.

SO the Gossamer Girls will leave Helen Lake and hopefully get tot he base of Golden Staircase. Passing thru the Rock Monsters home and some beautiful meadows and creeks

The gossamer Girls have left Evolution Lake and will pass through Muir Pass, the Muir Pass Hut, and then to Helen Lake.

Today the Gossamer Girls will leave Pluto and have one beautiful hike through some forests, across 2 creeks, and end up in Evolution Lake!

Ok they have left Marie Lake where the views are said to be awesome. Basically they will make it to Plute Pass or that's what my data says so listen anyway and we will see on Day 12 if they stopped at the hot springs or pushed on through!

Alright, folks, it’s Day 10! The Gossamer Girls are hopping on the morning ferry, waving goodbye to Vermilion Valley Resort and heading to Marie Lake.

What a day. Had a great interview with the newly named Gossamer Girls (they all have the same backpacks) and now you can hear Wendy and Heather discuss the hike and the adventures that they have had with Sue over the years!

So the team, now known as the Gossamer Girls as they all have Gossamer backpacks! What a coincidence! They were at the VVR today for a resupply and chill day so I caught up with them and have a great interview. Give it a listen!

Today's episode follows the team Out of Duck Creek, to a few lakes Purple, Virginia, and Squaw Lakes. The view will be beautiful once again with some views of dryer conditions through the passes.

The team left Red Meadows today and headed out to Duck Creek. The trek was not as glamour as the first few days but listen in on the things they saw and did!

Hey today was a rest day for the team as they kicked some tail yesterday and made it to Red Meadows. Laundry, Re-supply, Eggs, beer, and more... even a hot Spring. Sue and Anne join the podcast on trail today!

The team left Thousand Island Lakes and headed to Trinity Lakes. Looks like they passed quite a few beautiful lakes and scenery. ** Day 5 podcast was recorded prior to me hearing from Sue as they blasted the trail today and blew past Trinity and made it to Red Meadow! They said it was like a 15-16 mike hike. I'll update it all on today's episode!

OK here is the deal and their path today! Tuolumne Meadows - Donohue Pass to Rush Creek into Thoushand Island Lake. Its a short one today since I'm solo but we have some great background tunes from Matt Bolton

Hey today the team hiked from Cathedral Lake to Toulumne Meadows. They hit some civilization did a small resupply and charged up! Leaving the lakes and through the forest to a meadow probably was a change. I review it all here along with some funny hiking quotes!

Day two of the JMT adventure with Sue and Lee, starts with leaving the Highest Sunrise Creek campground and making the hike to Lower Cathedral Lake. In todays episode Optimus Prime and David Lee pop in to say hello!

So this first episode taks about how my wife Sue has started the John Muir Trial from North to South. List to Patty C, Cole, and Aidan give some information about the John Muir trail and some memorable hikes we have had in the past!
