Some people may quick look and think so, but if you really study each painting, each artist, you'll find their unique qualities. Perspective is what makes the originality. Originally labeled 'Decoration Day' - becasue graves were decorated with remembrances - it was later renamed 'Memorial Day' and given the distinction of timely honoring men and women who died in service to our country. As Ralph says, "Al could sell an overcoat to a mosquito in July." In the latter '90s,serving time in Florida prisons, Al Black painted murals on concrete walls. The other prisioners fiercely guarded his artwork. Al Black passed away May 1...

After Pearl Harbor the forgotten Phillipines, Wake Island and Guam told a horricfic story of war atrocities. The Batan death march forced wounded, barely surviving US soldiers on a 65-mile march that killed over 550 solders. The horrors of war can never be explained, even today.
