What Real Depth Looks Like 02.11.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 16:1-16 that real spiritual depth is demonstrated through serving, hospitality, generosity and sacrificial relationships. Highlighting Phoebe, Priscilla, Aquila and others, he calls believers to offer themselves as living sacrifices and become wells of Christ's living water for their church and community.
Who Pays? 25.10.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 14–15 that believers must reject both condemnation over matters of personal conviction and contempt toward those whose faith is weaker. Following Christ means willingly limiting personal freedoms, bearing with others, and “paying the bill” for the sake of their spiritual growth, just as Jesus humbled himself for us.
How to Know God's Will 18.10.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 12:1-2 that knowing God’s will begins with offering one’s whole life to God as a living sacrifice. He explains that believers must reject conformity to the world and allow God to renew their minds through daily, wholehearted surrender.
Above My Pay Grade 11.10.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 11:33-36 that God’s wisdom, judgments, and ways are beyond human comprehension, calling believers to humility rather than presumption. Reflecting on Romans 9-11, he emphasizes God’s rich mercy, humanity’s dependence on Christ, and the call to surrender fully to the One from whom, through whom, and for whom are all things.
No Separation for Those in Christ 04.10.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 8 that those who are in Christ face no condemnation and cannot be separated from God's love. He explains that the Holy Spirit dwells permanently within believers, guiding them through conviction and empowering them to bring every area of life under God's transforming presence.
No Condemnation 27.09.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 8:1-2 that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because Christ frees believers from the law of sin and death. Using the image of entering a house during a storm, he contrasts self-protective layers of attitudes, burdens, and curses with the new life found by accepting Jesus, believing his promises, and confessing struggles to him.
I Need You Jesus 20.09.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 7:14-25 that God’s law is good because it reveals the sin and darkness within us, but it cannot save or heal us. He warns against both legalism and rejecting the law as irrelevant, emphasizing that what the law reveals should lead us to depend on Jesus Christ for salvation and transformation.
Pick One: Grace or the Grave 13.09.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches that Paul uses several metaphors—including a cleared ledger, a conquered battle, a new kingdom, a funeral, a remarriage, and a change of masters—to explain salvation through Jesus. Drawing from Romans 6:19-23, he urges listeners to leave their old life of slavery to sin and choose God’s grace, which leads to holiness and eternal life rather than the grave.
Think Differently about Morality 06.09.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 3:21-28 that righteousness is not achieved through a moral scorecard of right and wrong, but received by faith in Jesus Christ apart from works of the law. He calls believers to adopt a new spiritual “operating system,” drawing near to God through Christ’s atoning sacrifice and allowing genuine depth to produce obedience.
It's Not That Deep 30.08.2026
Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 1:18-25 that the truth about God is plainly revealed through creation, yet humanity suppresses it and exchanges worship of the Creator for created things. He explains that sin’s depravity is seen in self-centeredness, ingratitude, futile thinking, and darkened hearts, while God’s wrath includes handing people over to their desires. Real spiritual depth culminat...
A Life Revolved Around Jesus: Part II 23.08.2026
Being a disciple runs on three essentials, each in two parts: truths and promises from the Word, adjustments and assignments from the Lord, and support and encouragement from one another. An assignment usually has a name and a face. Surrender reaches into big decisions, dating, and money, and whoever unhooks from community drifts into trouble alone.
A Life Revolved Around Jesus: Part I 17.08.2026
Pastor Elijah Tadema teaches from Matthew 28:16-18 that a disciple revolves everything around Jesus by giving him priority and authority. He explains that believers can remain grounded amid difficult circumstances by focusing on Christ, responding to sin with genuine repentance, believing the gospel, and surrendering their plans to follow Jesus.
Miracle Workers 10.08.2026
Matthew bookends his miracle chapters with the same sentence in 4:23 and 9:35, so the section lands on the reader rather than only on Jesus. Every verb in that verse is a commission: go, teach, proclaim, heal, have compassion. Being unqualified or new exempts no one. The closing instruction is to pray for workers, and the ones who prayed got sent.
The Miracle is on the Way 03.08.2026
Faith is not leverage over God; it is nearness to him. In Matthew 9 a synagogue leader whose daughter has died and a woman twelve years into bleeding both press toward Jesus, and compassion meets them before the outcome does. Getting close does not change God's plan. It changes what we are able to see while we wait.
Don't Miss the Real Miracle 27.07.2026
Physical healing is the easier thing for Jesus to do. In Matthew 9 he forgives the paralyzed man before he tells him to walk, because only God has authority to forgive sins, and that is the deeper miracle Matthew wants us to see. The invitation is to surrender the part of life we keep holding back.
Let Him Speak 20.07.2026
A Roman centurion told Jesus his servant was suffering and never asked him to come, certain that a word would be enough, and Jesus called it the greatest faith in Israel. Capernaum had him in person and missed him. What God speaks is worth letting land, even when it corrects us.
It's Not Over Until Jesus Says It's Over 12.07.2026
Jesus waited two days after hearing Lazarus was sick, and he still wept at the tomb. A delay is not a denial. God is working while he seems silent, and the same voice that called Lazarus out is calling us to roll away whatever stone we are still living behind.

In Matthew 21, the issue was not recognizing authority. It was submitting to it. Some knew who they were and surrendered to something greater than themselves. Others refused because their identity was still rooted in their own way. Our identity was never meant to be found in ourselves, but in Christ.
