any changes on your partner's mood or actions can trigger overthinking. oftentimes, it leads to self-blame. that's why clarity is necessary. i was always the overthinker ( yet hopeful ) in the relationship, until i learned that it's not always because of me. anyway, this is " Fallout ."

10 days after their Philippine Arena concert, i still find myself reminiscing those moments and looking back on my personal attachment to my heroes over the years. this is why i love this band so much.

from "Amiel Aban" to "amiel" and now to "JAN AMIEL." why the heck did i have to change? i wanted something new, but someone made a statement that reminded me why i make music for everyone.

it's been a while since i released music. here's why. but y'all will know if it's coming out. hints, teasers, easter eggs, and all.

back in 2020, i started releasing my own songs on streaming platforms as an independent artist. a year after, i was offered by and signed a distribution deal with a record label. for 3 years, i got opportunities i never expected i will have. and for 3 years, i struggled too. i felt i am not myself and i felt lost. and here's why.

i grew up listening to My Chemical Romance and started being into music and bands and (a bit of) fashion because of them. and recently, i saw a YouTube video of their song again, relived my childhood memories, and wowed at Gerard's voice as an adult. times are so much fun back in the day. \m/

being what others expect of you (whether it's a high or low expectation), always wanting more but in reality unsatisfied with what we have now, and pursuing something without intentionality at the cost of living a full life + being fixated on the future is pointless. be yourself, be faithful, be present.
