We come to the final trait of a Mature Disciple and using Psalm 1 we will see how we are blessed when rooted in The Word.

We will take a look at Exodus 14: 1 - 14 and learn what it means to be still in the presence of our LORD and to hear His voice amidst the noise.

Using Luke 10:25-37 and especially verse 36, we will see how Jesus became for us the neighbour that nobody wanted, so that we can love our neighbour as ourselves even if we are the neighbour they don’t want! We take a look at Matthew 6:19-24 and consider a Lasting Investment. Most of us LOVE stuff. Stuff is so good. It makes us look good, feel good, do things we like. But they can have an ongoing cost greater than the initial purchase. They can take our hearts. For that reason earthly treasure can be problematic. If only there was a better solution?

We conclude the messages on Serves out of Love with the Final message of - Not So Among You. Using the text - Luke 10:29-37 we will consider Jesus' call to us to be servant of all. We will look at what it means to love our neighbour even when it gets messy.

We start looking at the next 'Trait of a Mature Disciple' - SERVES OUT OF LOVE. Using Philippians 2:1-11 we will see what it means to "Follow the Servant" - it was counter-cultural in Jesus' day, and it is counter-cultural today. As Jesus says to his followers in a self-seeking age, "Not so among you."

At Generate, our monthly Youth & Young Adults service, we've been asking the question 'Why', hoping to get back to the heart of what our faith is all about. We welcome special guest, Steaven Cheung, from NLEC, who shares with us about sin and redemption, and how we find purpose in our lives.

We continue and conclude our series on accountability, looking at Romans 12: 1-8 and how accountability in the Body of Christ can be a place of transformation to becoming more like Christ.

We continue our series on committing to accountability, as we look at Ephesians 4 and discover how we build relationships of honesty and truth as we seek to grow more like Jesus.

We begin looking at our fourth trait of a mature disciple: 'Commits to Accountability'. We turn to Matthew 25, and talk about how accountable relationships are places of trust and God is someone we can count on.

We welcome guest preacher, Phillip Scheepers, from the RTC in Melbourne. Phillip dives into Acts 22, where we read of Paul's parting words to the Ephesian elders and find great encouragement for our gospel ministry.

As we look to the life of Jesus, we see a regular pattern of escaping to the lonely place to pray and spend time alone with God. By diving into Luke 4, we see how this pattern & discipline can help us in an age of chaos and busyness.

We welcome back Pastor Glenn, who shares from Luke 6 and encourages us to not just hear God's words, but to do them; not just to call Jesus Lord, but actually live it.

We wrap our 'We Are All Witnesses' series by looking at 2 Corinthians 5, and how we are compelled the share the gospel by knowing the fear of the Lord and the victory of the cross.

We continue our series 'We Are All Witnesses', as Glenn looks at 2 Corinthians 4 & 5, and how we are called to share the gospel, particular in our words. He teaches about gospel fluency, and knowing God's story, our story and others' stories.

We begin looking at another trait of mature disciples: sharing the gospel. We look at Acts 1 & Romans 1, to see that we are all called to be witnesses and that our confidence is in the power of the Gospel.

We hear from our children's ministry leader, Scott, as our kids takeover and lead our service. Over the last few weeks they have been exploring what it means to be part of the family and Scott shares some insights about what it means for all of us to be children of God together.

We wrap up our series on selfless prayer, as we dive into God's Word and see that we aren't just called to pray, but also be the answer to prayer. We celebrate Lord's Supper together and know that Jesus is the best example for us to follow.

We continue our series, diving into how we pray selflessly for our world. We look at Jeremiah 29 and 1 Timothy 2, and how we can pray for the peace and prosperity of our city and world, as well as our leaders.
