Newton at Home, a volunteer-powered nonprofit, empowers older adults in Newton to live independently, safely, and with peace of mind in the homes they love. As a member-based village, we connect neighbors to neighbors - offering practical support, meaningful social engagement, and a strong sense of community.

Needham Community Farm provides fresh, healthy, sustainably grown produce to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry, serving over 400 income-eligible families a month.  Their Mobile Market distributes our produce at four Needham Housing Authority sites.  

Hospitality Homes serves patients regardless of age, diagnosis, ethnicity, religion, income level, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or hospital. They host people from all over the country and the world, enabling them to receive the care they need – from the medical providers the Boston area is so fortunate to have here.

The Charles River Watershed Association works to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed using science, advocacy, and the law by developing science-based strategies to increase resilience, protect public health, and promote environmental equity as we face a changing climate, together.

REACH envisions a world where individuals and communities are free from domestic violence, empowered to live with safety, dignity, and hope.  Their work is not just about responding to violence, but about transforming the conditions that allow it to exist 

QNEST founder, Sarela Bliman-Cohen, volunteers with various nonprofit s in the Boston area. Through the years, she witnessed and learned of the challenges facing homeless LGBTQ+ minors rejected by their families. Sarela realized there is a gap in care and founded QNEST - Queers Never Experiencing Shame and Trauma. 

Welcome Home strives to provide families experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. They are a local nonprofit organization in Newton, Massachusetts, that collects and redistributes like-new household items to hundreds of people in need each month with no fees, no forms, and no requirements. 

The Second Step provides free, trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic violence throughout Greater Boston and beyond. They are dedicated to ending the cycle of abuse with our wraparound support, including safety planning, legal services, housing stabilization, support groups, and community education.
