Last week we saw that God left home/comfort to come to us, and He challenges us to do the same for for the lost around us. Today we'll learn He doesn't just leave us there; Jesus shows us the way so we too can go, face opposition, and trust He'll be there with us.

During the recent pandemic many of us stayed home to be safe. God did the opposite when he saw danger in the world. He left his home to save humanity from the death and destruction of sin. Now we are called to do the same for others.

We've learned the Big Ten aim us toward right relationships, and #10 aims directly at our hearts. But laws cannot change our hearts, they can only expose them. Then what?

Pilate asked Jesus what many people are asking today: What is truth? In this message we'll look at why we lie, the consequence of lying, and God's solution.

We've been learning how the the 10 commandments aim us at right relationships. This one aims at our relationship with God and all he possesses, and how that affects our view of others and their possessions.

Yes, God does talk about sex in his word, and for this message on the 7th commandment, we'll start with 3 assumptions: 1/there is a thing called marriage (which we must define), 2/there is a bond in marriage that can be destroyed (we call that divorce), and 3/there is a thing called sex which destroys that bond when taken outside.

The sixth commandment is "You shall not murder." How does God's word define murder? What is and what is not considered murder today? What are Christians called to do? These and more questions are explored in this message from our Director of Student Ministries.

What if God gave us a play that could extend our lives? Look at the end of commandment 5. In this message we'll see God has a lot to say about the relationship of parents and children—throughout the Bible.

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." Does that really apply to us? Today? We've learned the commandments are about relationship, and the best relationships require time.

Thousands of years ago God spoke instructions, that if followed, will bring about the best relationships with God and other humans: The Ten Commandments. In this message we look at #3 and see that it goes much deeper than just not saying certain swear words.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image..." Surely that doesn't apply to us, right? Think again. We have our share of idols, and they can wreak havoc on all of our relationships.

The Ten Commandments remind some of being disciplined as a kid and cause some to feel shame because they don’t live up to them (which we don’t). This series aims to give us the right perspective of them, and so change all of our relationships.

This series, hopefully, has given you a vision for prayer. In this concluding message we will move beyond just a conversation with God to the greater purpose of prayer: being in His presence.

In the last message we looked at possible answers to our prayer, and one of them was "slow." When you get this answer, don't be discouraged, but prepare to endure.
